Diddy has just retired from racing so is ROR eligible and is ready for her own partner in crime to have lots of fun with.
Diddy does basic flatwork, she has three balanced smart flashy paces. She hasn’t done any flatwork previously so it’s all a learning curve, she’s getting better every time. She is forward going but willing to learn and always tries her best.
She has been to an arena hire, happily popping a course of showjumps and been cross-country schooling. She has ran over hurdles a couple of times previously. She loves jumping, this is her forte! She’s super clever. She isn’t phased by anything just needs someone to spend some time doing grids with her and getting her back on her hocks over poles. However, XC she is a machine. She will take you into anything. Brave as a lion and has plenty of scope, despite her size. Seen all types of fillers, basic XC jumps, hedges, ditches & water. She is a real hardy fun mare who’ll give you her all.
She is forward going but straightforward & safe. She doesn’t need any leg but she listens and has brakes. She is just a lady on a mission who likes to get on with things. Absolutely no malice or a bad bone in her body. She just gets a little excited so needs some patient & understanding. With the right person she’ll be so much fun. She just loves her work. More gelding than mare in every way.
She is very laid back on the ground. She’s well mannered with a very genuine character, loves fuss and mints. Happily stands tied up in the yard and falls asleep whilst she’s being brushed.
Has hacked out alone or in company around open fields & lanes, she isn’t fazed by anything. She’s seen all types of traffic. She is an easy going independant person.
She has a low mileage and last ran 04/09 so is fully fit. Overstocked and hasn’t shown enough to continue with. Currently on the walker and gets ridden a few times a week. Has lived in & out in company. Good to shoe, clip, box & travel. No vices. No sarcoids. Full history known as she’s a homebred. Not suitable for a novice or nervous riders.
She has a small fencing scar around her off hind cannon which doesn’t affect her and could be covered if required.
