Zelote Pagan is a striking 16hh, 9-year-old chestnut PRE gelding, imported from Spain and registered in the Spanish PRE Stud Book.
He is a talented, well-schooled dressage horse with three lovely paces. He works comfortably in walk, trot, canter and gallop and is trained in a range of dressage movements, including Spanish Walk and piaffe.
Zelote is responsive to light aids and will move forward and stop on command without needing force through the reins. He is comfortable, confidence-giving and genuinely enjoyable to ride.
His temperament is outstanding. He is calm, affectionate, sensible and extremely well behaved, with no known bad habits. He stands quietly for grooming, the vet and farrier and is loved by everyone who handles him.
He is excellent in traffic, good around other horses and animals, and thoroughly enjoys hacking. He could suit a capable novice, family, riding school or experienced rider wishing to develop his dressage ability further.
Zelote has always been kept on full livery at a professionally managed farm with approximately 52 horses. He has received the very best care, with no expense spared.
His vaccinations are fully up to date, he is registered with Pool House Vets, has been tested for strangles and previously passed a full five-stage vetting with no issues. Buyers are welcome to arrange their own veterinary examination.
This is a genuine and very difficult sale because I no longer have enough time to ride him or continue my dressage lessons. A knowledgeable, loving and permanent home is extremely important.
