Isaac is a light, elegant and responsive horse to ride who enjoys his work. He has three lovely paces, finds all of his lateral work very easy, has good ability to extend and collect and has a clean (but still slightly green) change each way. He goes in a snaffle or a double.

167 BD points but could still compete at Elementary Bronze with an eligible rider. He could be a wonderful schoolmaster for someone to learn the ropes at ele/medium or equally he has lots of untapped ability to develop more and could certainly progress to PSG or more with the right rider.

Isaac loves his hacking - he goes out alone or in company, in front or behind, and is very good with heavy traffic and in open spaces.

Isaac was originally bought by me as an unbroken 3yo to event. He was a winner at BE90 level but did not enjoy the showjumping in a competitive environment so I made the choice to focus on dressage with him so that I could learn to ride the higher level work. He does however enjoy his cross country (loves a farm ride trip), and is happy to do polework/gridwork/SJ lessons in a non-competitive or lower key setting.

He is only for sale because my heart is in eventing and he keeps getting put on the back burner because dressage is not 'my thing'! This is a very sad sale because he is an absolute delight to have around and the sweetest horse to do.

He is a very compact 16.2/3 and would suit a smaller rider or even a teenager moving up onto horses. He is very easy to sit to. He's a very well mannered ride and would be perfect for a competitive amateur, but not suitable for a novice or very nervous rider as he can have a little spook (absolutely nothing nasty - he's just not a robot) and he responds to light aids. Does not need riding every day and will be the same to ride even if he's been on holiday for a few weeks!

He has no vices and is easy to do in all ways. He does have some veterinary history and minor maintenance requirements which I am happy to discuss to genuinely interested buyers and is reflected in my asking price.
