Teddy is our much loved 11hh, 14yo Dartmoor type gelding and the ultimate little gentleman. This is a very sad sale of a pony who has given our family so much joy.

He is a genuine lead rein and first ridden pony and definitely more woah than go. He has looked after his little rider beautifully and is a wonderful confidence giver.

Teddy has been exceptional at children's meets. He stands sensibly at the meet, happily goes along amongst the crowd and is equally content to stay quietly at the back on his own. He doesn't get wound up by the excitement and has been a wonderful pony for a child to enjoy hunting on.

He has been to three Pony Club camps and taken part in lots of Pony Club rallies, mounted games, fancy dress and general family fun.

On the ground he is an absolute gent. Perfect to load and with the farrier, stands patiently to be groomed and fussed over by children and loves cuddles and affection. He really is the sort of pony children can enjoy doing everything with, not just riding.

He is a hardy native of Dartmoor type (not a registered dartmoor pony) who lives on fresh air and we are not aware of any previous health problems. Comes with saddle and bridle.

Teddy is well known locally and plenty of Pony Club families, instructors and others who have seen him in many different settings across the New Forest will no doubt happily vouch for him.

Home is incredibly important. We are looking for a long term Pony Club or hunting family home where Teddy can continue doing the things he loves and be adored. He would be particularly suited to a family with several children, where he can teach one after another and hopefully stay for many years.

Teddy has given us so much joy and we owe it to him to find a home that will love and appreciate him as much as we do. The right home is far more important than a quick sale, we can keep him for as long as.
