Sherlock (Crabswood Zonza) is a very sweet, well bred 4 year old New Forest gelding, he’s 13.3hh and has a little more filling out to do as he matures. He is still young and green but he is a genuinely kind pony with a lovely attitude to life. He is not nasty, sharp or silly and has no history of bucking, rearing, napping etc.

He hacks alone or in company and has been out and about nicely. He has jumped a couple of logs/XC fences out hacking and takes everything in his stride. He is not a plod but also not sharp or silly. He has started doing some small showjump courses and is very willing to learn. He is still green and will need a competent rider to continue his education and bring out his full potential.

Sherlock has a lovely nature. He is super easy to handle and is a pleasure to have around the yard. He’s easy to catch, load, clip, groom, tack up and for the farrier/vet. Professionally backed and broken. No vices and never been sick or sorry. Vaccinated. Lives in or out with mares and geldings.

Sherlock would suit someone looking for a lovely young New Forest to put their own stamp on. He has a fantastic attitude and, with the right education and experience, we think he has a very bright future ahead of him.
