Raffles is the definition of a good boy. He started his eventing career this year, placing 3rd, 3rd and 4th at BE90, before stepping up to BE100 with ease with 2 double clears. 

He is incredibly easy on the flat, the type of horse that anyone could get on and produce a lovely test. Has scored sub 30 BE and 70+% at unaffiliated dressage.

He is bold and brave jumping, will always try and jump whatever is in front of him with a smile on his face. Jumped multiple double clears at BS discovery, with scope to go higher in the future. Incredibly straight to a fence cross country and would give someone great confidence in this phase. He rides like he has been doing it for many more years than he has.

Raffles isn't only good at a show, he is also super to hack. Can go alone or in company, often used as a nanny. Brilliant with any size of traffic. Good in open fields. He is a lovely boy on the ground, travels well in company or by himself. Good to shoe, clip, shoe, catch, load, etc.

Raffles would suit someone who wants a genuinely lovely horse to have some fun on, at a bargain price. This could be eventing, tetrathlon, dressage, riding club, team chasing or hunting. Would be a serious contender for qualifying for Badminton grassroots. Breeding speaks for itself.
