Rio is an 12 years old gelding standing at 15.3hh and is now looking for his next partner.
Home bred Irish sports horse X warm blood. Rio has been with us since birth and we fell in love instantly. He is a pure soul with the loveliest, kindest nature. He excels in dressage and is a real eye-catcher, however is happy to turn his hoof to anything and loves to jump. A kind and willing horse that is eager to please and learn.
Rio is a true schoolmaster, has always been placed when competing at unaffiliated dressage doing up to elementary with 3 beautiful, active paces. He works beautifully on the flat, works impeccably on the aids, and really enjoys his work. Snaffle mouthed.
Rio is brilliant to hack with or without company, front or back of the pack in all kinds of traffic and all weathers.
A super smart horse, he would ideally suit someone who wants to do a bit of everything, PC, RC, BS, BD horse, to enjoy dressage, showing, pole clinics, camps, and fun-rides.
Rio has excellent manners and is fantastic to shoe, catch, bath, and load. Never reared, bucked, bolted, or silly.
