This is a genuinely heartbreaking and very reluctant sale of a much-loved pony. We have owned Huw for the last 6 years, so this is incredibly difficult sale. He is only for sale as my daughter is moving on to a horse.
Huw is a kindhearted, genuine pony who has enjoyed a varied and fun-filled career. He has a strong foundation and has regularly taken part in all aspects of Pony Club activities. He has successfully evented and show jumped up to 80cm and has competed at the Pony Club Regional Championships for the last three years.
He has three smart paces and works beautifully on the flat, amazing Dressage prospects. Would make an excellent M&M workers. He is never strong and is ridden in a snaffle. And is never sharp or hot.
He hacks out in open spaces both alone and in company and has attended fun rides, farm rides, Pony Club camps and numerous away competitions. He is an intelligent pony who learns quickly and loves attention, fuss and being pampered. He is used to a busy environment with dogs, cattle and sheep.
Huw is a good doer and is equally happy living in or out. He is relaxed in the stable and is not stressed when other horses come and go. He is barefoot with excellent feet. He is good to catch and loves a clip and is well behaved for the farrier and dentist, and bath.
He has only travelled with us in a 3.5-tonne horsebox, where he travels well and is happy to stand quietly. He has no health issues or vices and has never required veterinary treatment other than routine vaccinations.
He is well mannered on the ground and was safely handled and ridden by my daughter from a young age. He is full Registered as a Section C on WPCS Green Passport, he is full of Welsh character and presence no novice owners please, as that’s my preference.
He will only be sold to the very best home, and we are in absolutely no rush. Hundreds of photos and videos are available on request.
