Persey is the ultimate leisure pleasure/ pony club all-rounder with a golden temperament. He is as safe as they come and gives everyone confidence that gets the pleasure of riding him. He is a 15h 5 year old (going on 10!) bay fully registered Connemara gelding. He is class 1 registered with good bloodlines. He is a real stunning quality stamp with a kind eye that really draw you to him. He is gorgeous inside and outside to match and will make someone a horse of a life time for sure. He has excellent conformation, clean limbs, is blemish free with straight movement. He is such a desirable type as he is a great size for children, teens and small adults alike. He would be perfect for a mother/daughter share.

Persey has good basic schooling established with 3 good paces. He is a very straightforward uncomplicated ride. He is on the steady side of medium to ride in the school. He is nicely responsive to transitions. He is more woa than go so does need a bit of leg but in a nice way. This makes his rider feel very safe and also means that Persey is suitable for nervous/ novice riders as well as more competent riders. He is a real safe steady confidence giver to ride and not the spooky or sharp type. He is snaffle mouthed for everything with a lovely light mouth. He is very forgiving and doesn't mind if his rider loses balance or misses a beat, he will just slow down and let you catch your balance. He rides in a nice basic manner with a level head carriage. He hasn’t been produced for dressage and ridden into an outline as his previous owner wasn’t interested in that. However he could easily school up into the contact with a little work and do some dressage as his paces are good and he is a well-balanced horse. He would suit a wide range of riders from competent novices through to more experienced riders that just want a straight forward easy going ride that they can pick up and put down as he doesn’t require daily riding to keep sane.

Persey loves his jumping and is really genuine safe and confidence giving over a fence. He makes a lovely shape without over jumping which makes you feel nice and secure. He nicely takes you into a fence from trot or canter and remains in a regular rhythm without rushing. He doesn’t get at all strong or fizzy, juts super easy and straight forward. He is a very much point and aim type who helps his rider out and juts loves to jump. He has some Irish showjumping points from some affiliated shows with his previous teenage rider. He is happily jumping 80cm courses currently. He has also been xc schooling and has done several hunter trails where he was simply amazing. Hes very confident and bold and jumps everything first attempt including ditches and water. He is a real xc machine, point and aim type who is very genuine with lots of talent. He is a very straight forward ride and takes his rider into the fences nice and confidently but remains safe and sensible. He would excel at hunter trails and low level one day events. As well as being suitable for all pony club and riding club activities.

Persey is super to hack both alone and in company. He is great with traffic and hacks straight out onto a busy through road where traffic goes flying past him. He is very confident in his own skin so doesn’t need his rider to hold her hand. He is very calm and sensible in open spaces and really enjoys having a canter through the fields, he is so much fun. He is the perfect medium speed when out hacking and gives his rider lots of confidence. He has been on lots of pleasure rides which he really does excel. He would be the ideal type to take on horse holidays and enjoy hours of exploring together as he is super comfy too and relaxed in new places.

Persey has a superb quiet temperament; you really wouldn’t find a quieter easier horse. He really is such a nice sweet person who wants to be everyone’s friend and wouldn’t hurt a fly. He is easy to handle and is very polite with manners to burn. He loves to be groomed and pampered. He is such a kind loving boy who is very gentle and calm. He is very good to catch, bath, shoe, load, catch ect. He will live alone or in company and in or out, he just goes with the flow. He is so much more than just a horse; he will be your best friend and part of the family.

He would make the perfect pony club/ riding club horse, he would alos be well suited as a confidence giving pleasure horse. Looking to find Persey a 10* home where he will be loved and enjoyed. Passed a 5 stage vetting recently which can come with him. Sadly offered for sale as my sister’s circumstances have now changed and she doesn’t have the time for a horse. Videos available on request.
