Competitive Grassroots or Potential Junior Horse

• Irish Sports Horse
• Bay
• Mare
• 6 years
• 16.1hh / 166cm

• Currently successfully competing at BE90
• Plenty more to come and she has scope enough to be a great junior/2* horse.

6 year old bay mare with ability in all 3 phases, making her a strong competitor for grassroots and beyond.

Iris has been slowly produced from a 3 year old and is currently successfully competing at BE90. She has 3 good paces, with a particularly expressive trot, giving her marks in the high 20s/low 30s.

She is careful in her SJ and absolutely loves her XC, regularly producing double clears. She started competing only this season over BE80/90 and will end the season with a BE100 at Tweseldown. We think she will be very competitive at this level but there is plenty more to come and she has scope enough to be a great junior/2* horse.

Iris is a straightforward ride and we believe she would be suitable for a confident teenager coming off ponies or a junior rider looking for a horse to produce further. However, she is not yet the finished article so we believe would not be suitable for novice riders or someone looking for a schoolmaster type.

Temperament wise, Iris is a good girl all round. She just does everything very sweetly and everyone on the yard enjoys riding and handling her.

Iris has lots of great qualities and we would love to see her go to a competitive home as we think she can be a really competitive little horse and bring lots of pleasure to her rider.
