Koshi is the sweetest, most affectionate horse. He just loves a fuss. He’s 16.1hh, bright bay, TB gelding, 13 years.
Has been professional schooled by myself & a professional show jumper over a 2 year period before going out on loan for 14 months where he mainly hacked & did hound exercises - Will just need a reminder on the jumping side as he’s not done much over the last 18 months
He is now come back to me for schooling and to find his forever home !
No sensible offer refused to find in the best Home before winter
He’s going well on the flat and can now do a proper balanced, collected 10m circle in canter but, he is green and still needs consistent schooling work. He has been XC schooling a fair few times Before going out on loan and loves it and he’s also started being properly introduced to SJ. He can do 80cm comfortably from a trot already, teaching him to use himself and not race at a fence. He is quick upfront and is careful.
He is good to catch, box, shoe, in traffic, pick his feet out, clip etc. He is also good with dogs, and is unphased by sheep, cows and pigs! He is lovely with other horses. Nothing fazes him. He is also great to hack either alone or in company.
He is up to date with jabs, farrier, teeth, saddler, worming and ready to go on and do a job now. He should be out and about competing this year with someone who has more time.
He has a fully adjustable, close contact Fairfax black leather jump saddle that was bought new for him that can be sold by desperate negotiation
He is snaffled mouthed, and is ridden in a loose ring with a running martingale for jumping.
He is French and impeccably bred, out of Juddemont. RoR eligible. Won a lot in his day. He came to the UK as a 6yo, but never really made waves here, like in France. 2 years after leaving France
