WHAT A LOVELY YOUNG HORSE!
Approx. 16.2hh, 4-year-old gelding by Dorian Grey TN Z (Dominator 2000 Z) × El Salvador (Vigaro).
A super genuine young horse with top-class jumping blood, a fantastic brain and an attitude that makes him incredibly easy to like!
Gordon has a seriously exciting pedigree. His sire Dorian Grey TN Z jumped to 1.40m level and is a son of the phenomenal Dominator 2000 Z, one of the most successful and sought-after sons of Diamant de Semilly. His sire line also brings in Chellano Z, giving him some seriously proven international jumping blood.
His mother is by El Salvador, himself a 1.45m jumper and a son of the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Vigaro. His damline then goes back through Ugar Star and Joduria into the well-known Coduria family. There is quality and proven jumping blood throughout his pedigree!
As a horse himself, he really is an absolute sweetheart. He’s straight, genuine, uncomplicated and incredibly willing. For a 4-year-old he has a fantastic attitude towards everything asked of him and always wants to please.
He’s already happily jumping around courses and is proving to be very brave and naturally careful, with a lovely technique and plenty of scope. He uses himself really well over a fence and gives you a great feeling without being sharp, silly or difficult.
What really stands out about him is just how easy and straightforward he is. He has a lovely friendly temperament, is very rideable and forgiving, and doesn’t feel like the sort of young horse that needs a professional sat on him every day. He could suit almost any type of rider — equally exciting for someone wanting to produce a quality competition horse, but genuine and uncomplicated enough for a capable amateur wanting a lovely young horse to bring through themselves.
A really lovely combination of breeding, ability, temperament and rideability that is increasingly difficult to find.
A super genuine young horse with all the ingredients to make a very exciting future prospect!
