Buckskin colt foal to make 16.2/3
Dawson is a VERY flashy foal who will certainly stand out and catch attention between the white boards in the future! His movement has so much suspension he looks like he floats on air!
This was reflected in his Strong results through his Futurity evaluation in August. He scored an overall 8.70 which included high Elite scores. I believe had he been a month or two older he would have been more towards the overall Elite Status. A Hugh score of 9.5 was given for his canter, "Uphill, Strong, with good articulation and use of hind leg". His Trot was given a 9.25, "Great use of hind legs moving well under the body". An 8.75 average from the vet working towards the 9, and comments of strong quarters and good sloping shoulder in the Conformation. With time and development he has all the attributes to make him a Top class Dressage horse for the higher levels in the future.
His dam is by the Grand Prix stallion Floriscount who combines some of the best International lines of Florestan and Donnerhall. The dam line comes from Sandro Hit and Rubenstein combined, so a cocktail of some of the most influential Sires known around the globe. The dam line itself have consistently produced horses to International PSG/Inter1 Dressage AND up to 1.50 jumping horses. His dams first of spring is working at Medium +, competed Elementary and has been successful at National Championships.
His Sire carries half Welsh Blood through his Welsh B sire meaning that Dawson himself is 25% welsh, giving him an opportunity to compete in part bred classes/the Associated BD Championships in the future. The dam line is a prolific ELITE producing line across multiple disciplines in both Dressage and Showjumping. The sire of his dam Brennus B, a Grand Prix horse himself out of 2 Grand prix parents and going back to 1.60 jumper Caretino Glory through the dams. Maternal siblings of his sire have gained multiple Elites, a brother is in America and a full sister was crown Supreme Champion SPSS Mare in 2023.
A daughter of sire Myspires Triple Gold has in turn now produced her own ELITE foal of 2026 who is the TOP Scoring pony foal of the year!
With the mixture of these bloodlines, movement, combined with his kind nature , gives him a great start to be a successful competition horse for a keen amateur or an owner to enjoy watching a professional take him up the levels.
I have no doubt that he would also be a super jumper to give him that variety to enjoy.
Dawson is available at weaning and can be ready by the end of November. If you would like him to stay for the winter with his weanling group and be gelded in the spring before leaving, this can be discussed.
