**FIGARO – Experienced 1.25m schoolmaster / allround gelding – 15 yrs – 1.82m**
For sale due to lack of time, a very experienced and extremely honest gelding with a big heart and lots of personality.
Figaro is 15 years old, approximately 1.82m, strong built and still very fresh and motivated to work.
He has competed up to **1.25m in Oliva**, with me as an amateur and certainly not a professional rider. He always gave me a very safe feeling and really helped me around the course.
He is a horse that basically does everything:
jumping, flatwork, hacking, beach rides… He enjoys being worked and likes variation. He is forward thinking, attentive and has a very good mentality.
Figaro is not a horse that enjoys standing still for days. He likes to have a job and is happiest when worked around 4 times per week. Under the motto “rest makes rust”, he is definitely a horse that stays at his best when kept active.
He is a real character in the stable: confident, funny, expressive and a bit of a showman, but also extremely affectionate once he trusts his person.
He has been with me for 8 years and has been incredibly reliable. During all those years I have never had any major veterinary issues with him.
Despite his age, he absolutely does not feel like an “old horse”. He still has plenty of energy and enthusiasm and could be a fantastic partner for an amateur rider looking for an experienced horse to enjoy, compete, train and have fun with.
He would suit someone who wants one special horse to build a real bond with, rather than a horse that is just one of many in a large competition stable.
A very difficult sale, so only serious enquiries please.
