4yo grey mare by Cartani (Carthago) out of an Ami Z mare that competed 1.40m classes. Standing 15.2hh, Almond will make a perfect ladies / juniors type.

Almond is riding well in all 3 paces and has just started popping a few fences under saddle.

Although she has only just started jumping under saddle, she feels incredibly scopey and has been really bold and brave with some small fillers.

We haven’t rushed her at all, had we pushed on a bit more I’ve no doubt she would be happily popping round a British novice, but to be honest we just don’t chase the shows too much at 4 years old.

She has done plenty of hacking, field work, pole work and has had to fit in to my very busy life, never taking offence with a few days off when life got chaotic over the 6 week holiday. On the road she has been really brave seeing a variety of vehicles.

All the basics are properly established, and she is ready for a knowledgeable, kind rider to continue her production. Only available to a 5-star home where her potential will be realised.

Almond is a lovely mare to deal with - she’s good to turn out, catch, groom, bath, for the farrier
