Muffin is a horse you can get excited about, a striking young Warmblood with expressive paces, established flying changes and a scopey jump, wrapped up in an affectionate character.
By Waterville Enrique out of Molly, he has a pedigree to catch the eye and plenty still to discover. He has spent three months at a professional show jumping yard, has hunted in his previous home and has previous eventing experience. There is a lovely foundation here for someone to build on.
We bought Muffin with big dreams. My daughter hoped to take him through to Elementary dressage and beyond, as well as develop him into a high-level showjumper. Sadly, her illness and the pain she experiences mean she can no longer give him the consistent riding he needs. This is a heartbreaking sale of a much-loved horse whose future we had hoped would be with us.
He has been lightly worked this summer while continuing to grow in height and length. He now needs time and consistent, sympathetic training to fill out, strengthen his topline and develop his frame. For a rider who enjoys bringing on young horses, he offers an exciting opportunity to shape that next chapter.
Muffin is affectionate and enjoys being loved. He is still green and can be spooky, although he is maturing and improving, so he needs a confident, experienced rider to help him fulfil his potential.
Currently barefoot; he has previously had front shoes and will probably need them again as his work increases. No illness or lameness during our ownership.
Muffin will only be sold to the right home, where he will be loved and given the time and training to fulfil his potential. He means a great deal to us, and we would love to keep in touch with his new owners and follow his progress.
