Four Long Socks

Rolo has three very smart and correct paces which the judges seem to love. He has a careful jump and a good, brave gallop. Making him an exciting young event horse with plenty of potential.

His education has been correct, slow and professional, always with his future in mind.

Please do not be put off by his size — despite being a big horse, he has only ever been ridden by smaller ladies.

Rolo has only been eventing for a few months but has already achieved some great results, including numerous double clears and sub-35 dressage scores at UA and BE. He has also recently stepped up to BE100, finishing 3rd.

He is good to hack alone or in company and is ridden in a snaffle for all three phases. He is good to shoe and clip and loads and travels happily on a 3.5t, trailer or lorry.

Rolo is not a novice ride. He is a big, young horse who is still relatively new to the competition environment and therefore needs a confident, capable rider to continue his education and bring out his full potential.

Rolo has a small sarcoid on his face, which is reflected in his price.

He has been with me since he was a 2-year-old, so finding him the right home is important.

He is a lovely horse with a bright future ahead of him and will only be sold to a knowledgeable, suitable home.
