Delilah Shuk
7-year-old Palomino PRE mare | 15.2hh
Delilah is a very special mare, full of love and personality.
She is competing very successfully at BD Novice level and training comfortably at Elementary, with established lateral work and mediums. She qualified for the MCI National Championships as a 5-year-old and has most recently qualified for the BD Prelim Regionals. She came over to England as a 2-year-old.
Delilah is the ultimate fun little horse to take out competing and enjoy. She hacks happily alone or in company and is great in traffic. She loves going on the gallops and cantering in open fields. She has also done some jumping and is regularly ridden by her owner’s 12-year-old daughter. She is not spooky and loves going out competing.
Delilah is ridden by a variety of ages and abilities (the jockey in some of the videos is 6ft tall!).
Having been in the same home for the past three years, Delilah is now looking for her forever home!
She is incredibly loving and thrives on human affection. She would suit an adult or young adult looking to develop that special, personal connection with their horse.
Delilah is strong-willed but well-mannered, so she needs a confident jockey as she is naturally forward-thinking. She is ridden in a snaffle bridle with no flash.
