Fiadh (pronounced Fee-ah)
Available to the best of homes only.
Would make perfect mother/daughter share.
Fiadh is a 17.2hh 12 year old Irish draught. Available due to change in owners circumstances and commitments.
Fiadh is a gentle giant, she loves a fuss and a cuddle and isn’t at all mare-ish. She’s good to handle in all ways (shoe, clip, catch etc) and is a pleasure to have around, even for her size.
In her current home, for the last 3 Years, she has been used as a general all rounder. She’s been to camp where she behaved impeccably and took place in all activities, she is nearly always snaffle mouthed (apart from out hunting).
I have taken her to low level showjumping and dressage competitions, she never puts a foot wrong. I purchased Fiadh after a bad fall and she gave me all my confidence back.
She is the best hack, she isn’t phased by anything! Completely bombproof.
I have also taken her to hound exercise and full days hunting, she absolutely loves it and looked after me when I was worried.
I would love for Fiadh to go to a home where she can get back out and about doing a range of activities. We also think she would suit a full hunting home- she hunted many seasons in Ireland before I owned her. She is a big girl and does absolutely love it, so can get a bit strong on the field but is never dangerous.
Fiadh does have a small melanoma on her bum this one hasn’t changed in the 3 years I’ve had her.
When she first arrived with me she took a few weeks to settle and did get clingy to her stable buddies. I can bring her out from the field to ride and even leave her alone in the field now.
Serious enquiries only as this is a very sad decision . No loans or view to buys. She will only go to the best of homes.
Can come with full wardrobe including tack.
