❤️ A VERY SPECIAL MARE LOOKING FOR A VERY SPECIAL HOME ❤️
16.1/16.2hh | 4yo Mare | Ancam An (Andiamo Semilly) × Kannan/Cruising | £12,000
This is quite a difficult advert for me to write, as this beautiful mare has been with me since she was three and I have an enormous amount of time and affection invested in her.
She is an absolutely beautiful type — compact, correct and incredibly well put together, with a gorgeous head and neck, good bone and substance and lovely matching feet. She is one of those horses who is constantly complimented wherever she goes, not only for how attractive she is, but for her wonderfully kind and happy outlook on life.
She has been quietly and professionally produced here with longevity very much in mind. She was backed towards the end of last year and has never been rushed or overproduced. She spent much of the summer hacking, interspersed with regular holidays to allow her body to strengthen and her brain to mature naturally. A nicely responsive ride, without being spooky, sharp or sensitive. You can leave her & get on without any fuss. She's a low maintenance young horse that has proven to be really reliable for us.
She has since been to arena hires, cross-country schooling and has jumped around a training show. She is still green in her jumping education, as you would expect, but she is incredibly genuine, willing and wants to get things right.
I think she has all the ingredients to make a really lovely ladies’ event horse, grassroots horse or junior eventer, while equally having the quality and ability to jump age classes and ultimately be a super Bronze League horse.
However, she absolutely does not need to go to a competitive home.
She is the most delightful hack and genuinely one of the loveliest mares to have around. I would be every bit as happy to see her become somebody’s treasured pleasure horse and best friend, enjoying hacking, clinics, holidays and everything in between.
Her temperament really is her greatest attribute. She is exceptionally easy and kind to deal with — clips, loads, travels, shoes and baths beautifully. A child could lead and handle her. She turns out alone or in company and is equally straightforward coming in and out of the field.
I genuinely have nothing but lovely things to say about this mare.
For complete transparency, she does have some warts/sarcoids on her belly, which have always been there and have never caused me concern. There is nothing within the tack area. Her price reflects this.
💰 £12,000
Given how long she has been with me, the home is far more important than the price. I would be prepared to have a sensible conversation for a serious, loving, long-term home.
Whether that is a competitive home where she can fulfil her potential, or a top-class pleasure home where she will be adored for years to come, I simply want to find her her person.
A genuinely beautiful mare, inside and out, who deserves the very best. ❤️
