15.2hh 6 yr old PB Connemara direct from breeder.

Major has superb Connemara breeding, by Kildromin Major (Andy’s Pride), with the highly regarded Innellan Kestrel also featuring in his pedigree. A lovely combination of traditional Irish bloodlines, quality and performance breeding.

Major is a genuinely lovely horse both to handle and under saddle. He has been produced slowly and sympathetically with his future in mind and is working nicely in walk, trot and canter. He is showing a real enjoyment and natural ability over fences and has all the ingredients to develop into a very smart competition horse.

He hacks confidently in open spaces and in traffic and is proving to be a very sensible, straightforward horse in his day-to-day life.

Away from work, Major is an absolute sweetheart. He loves attention, cuddles and being groomed and is incredibly easy to have around. He is the sort of horse who quickly becomes a much-loved member of the family.

Up to date with everything and impeccably behaved for the farrier, dentist etc. He comes with a clean bill of health and a 5 stage vetting. No sarcoids or blemishes. Of course major is open to further vettings and X rays as with all of our horses for sale.

He loads and travels very well.

Major is now looking for an established, competent rider who can continue his education and build his confidence. He is not a suitable step off ponies and would suit someone with a good seat, sympathetic hands and good balance.

We think Major has a very exciting future ahead of him and could make a fantastic grassroots eventing / Badminton Grassroots prospect, as well as a wonderful all-round competition horse and best friend.
