🌟 The sort of pony everyone hopes to find! 🌟
Ruby is a lovely 14hh mare with a fantastic temperament and so much to offer. She is kind, genuine and a pleasure to have around, with a willing attitude and a real love for her work.
What makes Ruby so special is her combination of a sensible, reassuring nature out hacking and an enthusiastic, forward-going attitude in the arena. She offers the best of both worlds for someone looking for a versatile pony to enjoy a variety of activities with.
🌿 HACKING – A REAL CONFIDENCE-GIVER
Ruby is a genuinely uncomplicated mare with no quirks. She doesn't nap, buck, rear or bolt, and she isn't the type to become fresh or silly after time off. She is happy to hack alone or in company and takes traffic and busy surroundings in her stride.Hacking is one of Ruby’s real strengths.Cars, lorries, buses, tractors, farm machinery, motorbikes, cows and general countryside activity are all familiar sights to her. She is a reassuring ride out.
Ruby is not the type to become silly simply because she has had a few days off, making her a straightforward pony to fit into everyday life.
She absolutely loves beach rides and going into the water, making her a fantastic companion for someone who enjoys getting out and about and having fun beyond the arena.
🏇 ARENA & JUMPING – BRAVE, WILLING & FUN
Ruby genuinely enjoys having a job to do. In the arena she is forward-going, responsive and enthusiastic, so she is best suited to a competent rider rather than a complete novice looking for a quiet first pony.
For the right rider, she is great fun. She has a willing attitude towards her work and enjoys getting involved.
Ruby is a brave, genuine jumper who enjoys tackling a variety of fences, including fillers, trays, rustic fences and cross-country-style obstacles. She approaches her jumping with enthusiasm and is a lovely prospect for someone wanting a pony to enjoy a range of activities with.
She is not a kick-along, plod-along type in the arena; she has energy, enthusiasm and a fun side that a capable rider can appreciate.
❤️ TEMPERAMENT & HANDLING – A PLEASURE TO OWN
Ruby has a lovely nature and is a pleasure to deal with both on the ground and in her day-to-day routine.
She is straightforward for the everyday jobs and is happy to be:
* Groomed and handled
* Caught and led
* Tacked up
* Loaded
* Clipped and bathed
* Seen by the farrier
* Seen by the dentist
* Handled in and out the stable
She is a kind, genuine mare who makes daily care enjoyable and uncomplicated.
