Andy is a much loved 6 year old, 16hh Irish Sport Horse gelding, offered for sale on behalf of his owner. He has been based with us on livery for the past six months, and this is a genuine & sad sale through no fault of his own.
Andy is a very sweet, kind and genuine horse with a huge amount to offer. He is a lovely type for someone looking for a quality all rounder to enjoy across multiple disciplines, with plenty of potential to progress and have fun with.
He has been cross country schooling, arena XC, ODEs etc, and has jumped up to Newcomers BS. He works naturally in a lovely outline and would produce a smart dressage test. He is forward going and enjoys his work, but is very safe and easy. Not phased by any fillers, water trays, ditches, etc. He is a very clever horse who will jump anything off any stride and can sort himself out. He'll take a miss and doesn’t hold it against you.
Andy is exceptionally easy to have around and a real pleasure to deal with. He is perfect to clip, shoe, load and for the dentist, and is a complete puppy to handle on the ground. He is equally happy being the only horse in the stable or being turned out first and brought in last. He stands quietly on the lorry by himself and is a very straightforward horse to take out and about.
He hacks happily both alone and in company and is good in open spaces and with all traffic. He has a wonderfully easy going attitude to life and is the sort of horse who simply gets on with whatever is asked of him.
Andy would suit someone looking for a genuine all rounder / mother daughter share to have fun on and love. He is straightforward, kind and enjoyable to have around.
A very special horse with a lovely temperament and a sad sale on behalf of his owner.
