TONY – Talented young jumping pony with exciting potential

Black gelding, 6 years old, approximately 13hh (height to be confirmed).

Bought in February for mounted games, but has proved a little too spicy for his current jockey. Tony has shown a real flair for jumping and is now competing and getting placed at 60cm, while schooling around 80cm tracks at home with scope for more. He’s bold, careful and quick, with exciting potential for British Showjumping in the right hands.

He has been cross-country schooling over ditches, steps and water, and hacks alone and in company, including across open spaces.

Forward-thinking and fun, Tony can occasionally have a playful buck or leap, so needs a confident, capable jockey. He is not suitable for a novice or nervous rider.

He has been ridden by several competent junior riders who find him great fun and a pleasure to ride. He would suit a home experienced in producing ponies, where his ability can be developed further.

An exciting opportunity to buy a talented young pony early in his competitive career and produce him on. He will continue competing while advertised, and his asking price will be reviewed as his experience and results develop.

Up to date with dental care, vaccinations and physio.
