An opportunity to own Romaround, a fresh face at Grand Prix level that has not been over-jumped or over-produced.

A full-up, FEI-measured 148cm 12-year-old gelding by Romanov, bred by the Allen Family at Ballywalter Farms. Owned by one family from the age of 4, he joined us at the end of 2025 for remarkable year of jumping. We are now searching for Romeo’s next home, one that will continue his progress in top-level competition.

With exceptional scope and ability, Romeo has stepped up to the bigger classes this year, with successes at 1.20m, 1.25m and 1.30m. There is plenty more in the tank. He has been consistently placed throughout the 2026 season at the top shows on the Irish pony circuit, including Cavan International, Millstreet, the Mullingar Masters qualifiers and the PRL Pathway series. He was also crowned Connaught 148 Open Champion. In previous years, he was placed in classes at Sentower Park and Peelbergen.

Seriously quick against the clock, yet he can go from a speed class straight into a Grand Prix and jump with the same rhythm and care. A real gentleman with a lovely nature, Romeo is all heart and will fight for his rider every single round.

Loves a hack, treats and is straightforward in every way. Travels well, experienced on the ferry and abroad. Romeo is ready to take his next experienced pony rider to the top of the sport.

Located in Galway, Ireland. Available to view at the CSI Youth at Sentower Park this November. Please no timewasters. Substantial price required.
