Welsh section D Gelding 15’2

10 years old!

I know it’s a cliché but this is a hard decision that has took me months to write.

Gold is a stunning, flashy, clever boy.

He is a school master! And is forward going, light on his feet he has so much talent, he loves to jump!

He Hacks out lovely, isn’t phased my traffic but can be nervous and look around but very trusting small amount of leg and he’s fine.

Never bucks,rears or bolts.

Great in open spaces,

Has been hacked out alone but not recently due to multiple horses to exercise.

Normally ridden in a snaffle

Currently ridden by my 7 months pregnant friend & my 11 year old daughter!

(Both competent and experienced riders)

Has been ridden by my nan literally! And non horsey partner & friends.

Although he can be ridden by novices he still needs an experience owner.

He can be Welshy on the ground but taken to field by my 11 year old daughter daily.

Currently out in a large mixed herd, has also been 1 to 1 for mares & geldings.

Has been shod and is great for farrier, is barefoot and has been for last year

Honestly quirky bits.

He’s not great with trailer transport, I can get him on and though trailer now but I don’t feel he’s comfortable yet to lock doors.

Travelled in a 3.5 lorry fine.

I am in no rush and more than happy for someone to come see him several times to ensure he ends up in the right forever home.

I have owned him 4 years, he deserves to be going out having fun not just pottering around.
