Glencarrig Blake

Sire: Blakehill Sparrow (I love you Melody)

Dam: Glencarrig Spring Rose

Blake was backed and ridden away in Ireland over last winter and has now had some solid foundations put in over here and is ready to start with a new partner who can have loads of fun with him.

He’s seen a lot of variety in Ireland jumping various fillers, popping some XC jumps and hacking up the road and seeing traffic. He’s got 3 correct and balanced paces, he is a bold, brave and forward ride not a kick along so wouldn’t be for a novice rider.

He’s competed in his first dressage competition gaining +67% taking everything in his stride. He’s yet to go out jumping but is great in new environments and not spooky so this won’t be an issue. He hacks out alone or in company and isn’t fazed by much at all but can have a baby look at things being only 5yrs old.

He’s a cracking model of a horse with good confirmation and clean limbs. He would excel in any sphere, SJ, dressage, eventing or workers (he would measure in)

He’s good to load, catch, shoe and clip and is good in the stable. He would happily live in or out and gets on great with other horses.

He’s a competitive horse through and through and is still green in his education so no novices please.
