Ardgaineen Tim is the world's best boy. He is just so straightforward, loving, easy to do. He has no drama about him whatsoever, loves people and will stand to be fussed with quite happily. He catches every time, walks straight onto a trailer, is not bothered by the vet and will stand for the farrier (albeit with maybe a lick or a few pony nuts as a bribe to last the full four feet - he is only a baby after all). We bought him from Ireland as a colt foal on his mum's side, so have known him since he was 4 months old. His sire is Robe Arrow and his dam is Gaineen Kathleen, we no longer have her but she can be seen on my social media channels, as can Tim. 

He's a big guy and at 14 -14.1hh now at 18m old we do expect he will make 15hh+. His conformation is lovely - not much 'pony' about him so he's not the best representation of the Connemara breed, but I think he's still really well put together, straight and correct, with plenty of bone - he's going to be a substantial guy! 

What else can I tell you about Tim.. he is N/HWSD for hoof wall, which means he is a carrier but not affected - as a gelding this has absolutely no significance whatsoever. I think he will make the best family pony, that could turn his hoof to anything. People have commented that he would make a lovely hunter or eventer... he is just a great guy! He currently lives out on the fell with the herd and is zero drama, getting on with everybody and mostly actually keeping himself to himself, grazing quietly. He does occasionally lose the herd with his best bud Finn, which doesn't seem to worry them in the slightest - I think 'no worries' is probably Tim's motto!
