We have owned Lady for 3 years and is sadly now ready for her new little person to love her.

Adorable 2016 Irish gelding standing at 13.1hh.

This beautiful boy offers a very safe, comfortable and confidence giving ride. Badger is snaffle mouthed, he has been ridden by children and adults, he enjoys hacking when alone and in company, always snaffle mouthed and super easy. He is brilliant with traffic, including farm traffic, doesn’t get hot or silly in busy environments.

Badger has three comfortable paces on the flat, he rides bigger than his size and massively takes up the leg, he would easily be quiet enough for a riding school, he is very forgiving and keen to please.

Jumping wise he has jumped courses at shows, cross country schooled and he’s bold to a fence, not spooky or looky and keen to please, he’s a real genuine type, a super family pony and very much the sort everyone wants, he is trustworthy in every way, happy to be handled and loved by little people too!

Open to any vet or trainer £6750

Our wonderful Bea is looking for her own little person to love her. She is an 11.1hh registered welsh section A mare.

She has recently been backed by a 7 year old girl with all ground work completed by experienced adult. She is voice trained on the lead and moves beautifully from voice commands.

She is a real contender for tiny tots LR classes up to county level. She has been placed in the pouring rain in hand at her first show and behaved very well. She lets little ones groom her, lie on her and catch her. She is a very sweet pony with natural presence.

Sadly my 7 year old has shot up this year and both children are now focusing on their pony club / jumping ponies so sadly she doesnt have a job with us. She lives in or out and happy on her own or with others.

She is priced to sell as we have no time for her anymore now that the jumping and pony club shows and rallies are all in full swing and we are competing most weekends.

Her price reflects her age and whilst she is a star she is only 5 and we want her education to continue in the right home.

£2500 inc tack.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

12.3 5years black mare.

Annie is a true legend and can turn her hoof to just about anything.

Been to lots of arena hires and lessons and rallies away from home and always excels. She has seen all games equipment- flags, bean bags, boxes and takes it all in her stride.

Loves a hack to the next village and waits patiently whilst her rider enjoys an ice-cream, loves to go paddle in the river Avon on a warm day and is happy to be tied to the tree whilst the kids are playing and having a picnic. Doesn’t get strong or silly and very level headed.

Happy to pop around a course up to 40/50. Doesn’t look at bright jumps or fillers she just keeps going!!! Sometimes she isn’t the boldest over showjumps but doesn’t stop and gives them 100%!

She loves to go cross country and is willing to go away from the ride or hang out at the back!! Always gives solid jumps a nice shape and is easy too and away from jump.

Loves to school happy to school in an open field, she is off the leg and will always listen to her rider. With an advanced rider on she is going to a contact, the judges always give her pleasing marks. She has had competent novices on board to advanced children to produce her, she has been produced correctly and with many jobs in mind from hacking across the countryside all day- pony club- local shows- a true family pony and a child’s/mother’s/granny’s best friend.

Annie is great to catch again the children go to get her from the field. The children muck out and groom her. We have never clipped her, she is fabulous with dogs and use to them around her, good to bath again the children do this! Great to tack up the children also do this.

Annie has had a variety or rider abilities and we feel she would suit a child that is a happy rider and a quiet rider. Annie is a 1.5/2nd pony. I feel she would grow with the child and they would end up with a great bond and relationship. Even if you are a granny wanting to go hacking she will also do your job all day long. She has such a level head, Annie may still be learning but she has the right temperament and brain that will enable her to go on to great things.

We only want the very of best for Annie so please only call if you are serious and can offer the very best of homes, this is going to break my grooms heart and he would like to keep in contact. The reason for sale is my son isn’t wanting to move off his Welsh and she is desperate get out again this summer and we now just don’t have the room on the lorry for her. Plus she deserves her best friend!

Melody is a super safe sweetheart and real confidence giver and hacks alone or with company. I take her out with my 17h warmblood and she never overtakes and will canter nicely behind or next to you. Never bolted! She will jump logs, ditches, go through water and up to 50cm around a course.

She’s 16yrs old and she’s a fun pony to hack and jump small courses on and has been the perfect stepping stone for my daughter to move to the next level. Done PC, XC, jumping and NSEA shows.
Bombproof, good to box and travels well, good with farrier.

Is time to find a lovely new family for gorgeous Meadow - she is a 13.2hh Welsh section C (with full green passport) - 15yrs and a very special pony.

She would suit a confident rider age 8-14yrs I would say (or older if still small - she is a cob so can carry weight) on or off lead rein. She is more of a second pony when off the lead rein, as would probably be too responsive for a complete novice (that said she was both of our daughter’s first pony!)

She is very easy and straightforwards, well schooled and adjusts herself to suit the jockey, she is absolutely brilliant around kids. She will jump anything you point her at, and is very comfortable to ride - not too bouncy! She has taught many a child to ride (2 of mine included) She is brilliant fun, a forward thinking responsive pony that isn’t a kick along.

She has never bitten, kicked, reared or bolted, no vices (unless you count being a greedy Welsh!) She loves to jump, and has never refused a jump the whole time we’ve had her (4 years) but I don’t feel she would suit a hugely competitive jumping family, more just popping round a clear round course or x- country with the pony club type thing. She has been to many PC camps, many many PC rallies and has appeared as many characters/ themes at the fun rallies over the years! She is happy to stand and been painted, prodded and preened, endlessly patient.

The only negatives I can think of is that on the ground she will happily drag a child to the nearest food bin if allowed to! (Aren’t all ponies greedy like this ?????no history of lami though) She can be speedy when doing grid work (she loves it!) but never at all dangerous or silly.

She’s a wonderful pony, 5*homes only please! WhatsApp for videos

Badger loves his hacking and is good in traffic and open spaces, and can be led off another horse, he can turn his hoof to anything and will happily step up or down the gears for his jockey .

Up to date with vaccinations , good to shoe ( fronts) , load , travel etc, he has been known to windsuck, but we haven’t witnessed this as he doesn’t do it in the field and our barn stables have nothing low enough to do it on, obviously his price reflects this.

Super sad sale as his jockey has upgraded, he has done his job and given her the confidence to want to move up the levels.

Dream 11.3 Pony - ‘Wildhill Fudge”. A heartbreaking sale of our beloved pony, Fudge.

Fudge is a handsome, eye catching pony. Fudge is an 11 Year old Bright Dun Gelding. Registered Welsh Part Bred

We bought Fudge for our daughter when she was 5 years old. Our daughter was keen to follow her sisters footsteps and start learning to Show Jump. Previously she has been riding a retired racing Shetland since she was 4 and progressed straight onto Fudge without any issues.

Fudge has proved to be an excellent little show jumper. He has qualified for Trailblazers 60cm and 70cm. He has had a number of rosettes with our older daughter when she was 9 and recently our 6 year old has started competing with Fudge gaining a number of rosettes including 1st and 2nd place. He has also competed at NSEA Grass Roots.

As you will see from his photos and videos he is a great little looker and mover so would also excel working hunter, show hunter, first ridden but it’s just not our thing.
Fudge can come down for a younger, less experienced child or equally go up for an older child. He is more than comfortable at jumping 60cm and 70cm, however we are at 40cm and 50cm with our 6 year old. He is happy to trott around a x-pole or 40cm course and likewise fly around a 60cm course in an unbeatable time.

Fudge has been to Pony Club, XC, fun rides. gone along to 3 stay away BS Pony Premier shows, he has done pony rides at our daughters birthday party, Show Jumping competitions and fun shows. Always the centre of attention wherever he goes.

Fudge is the perfect 1.5 pony, or a first ridden for a bold child. He would also be superb as a lead rein.

Fudge really is the dream pony. He is super in every regard.

He is excellent on the ground. Would stand to be groomed and fussed over all day, good to bath, clip, vaccinate, teeth, groom. Our 6 year old can do everything herself with him, load him, bath, tack him up. He is easy to catch every time.

He has never had a single grumpy moment with us…he is a really happy chap. Whinnies whenever he sees you, loves to be made a fuss of. He has never kicked, bitten or napped. He is the most honest, genuine pony.

Fudge is barefoot, he is easy to trim and stands like a statue to be clipped. He is up to date with his vaccinations.

He lives in a stable with us and has restricted grazing to keep him in shape. He lived out with his previous owners. He has no health issues whatsoever. Fudge was vetted when we purchased him and welcome any vetting.

Fudge is great to hack out, alone or with others, will lead or follow. He can be left alone or go out with our other pony. He is very used to large machinery as we live fairly rural. He is great in traffic.

Genuine reason for this sad sale.

We are all incredibly sad at the prospect of finding a new family for this super smart pony, so he will only go to the very best of homes.

Serious Enquiries only please. We have so many photos and videos of Fudge that we can share.

Based in Wiltshire.
