We are looking for a superstar pony for our petite 8 year old (120cm) approx 12 - 12.2hh

He is walking, trotting and cantering off the lead and currently trotting small courses up to about 40cm.

We are looking for a kind, experienced pony who can hold his hand and help his confidence soar and safely take him out to competitions - primarily dressage and showjumping. Must be a confidence giver as the nerves can sometimes creep in.

Will have a varied life to include lessons, beach rides, farm picnic rides, hacking, NSEA and pony club.
Must go for little legs and be suitable for a child to handle.

We would love a true child’s best friend - the sort you can do fancy dress on at your local show, go to camp or stay aways without them getting unsettled and most importantly, something that enjoys lots of cuddles and kisses!

Some minor health conditions considered as long as disclosed and reflected in the price.

We are an experienced family home and have a younger sibling waiting in the wings, so would like something that we can treasure for many years.

For Sale: Nemo – Fun Forward-Riding Pony

Nemo is a Welsh Section B x. He is a lovely boy full of character who is looking for a confident young rider who loves to jump and wants to have some fun!
We have owned him for just under a year, and I've had to make the very difficult decision that he and my daughter are not the right match.
If I could keep him and get another pony for my daughter, then I would. Nemo deserves a home where he can be active, go out and have lots of fun!

Key Details:

NOT a novice/first ridden pony – Nemo is a forward second ride and needs a confident child or young teen with soft hands; he does not like his mouth being pulled about!

Experience: Previously competed with his former owners; enjoys jumping, on occasion can throw in an excited buck but is never nasty, good in the school, has three lovely paces, good in traffic and loves hacking. Over the last year, we have introduced Nemo to group lessons; he enjoys these and has learnt a lot.

Good with: Farrier, clipping (although hasn’t been clipped this winter), loading, sheath cleaning, vet, dentist (this is due in January & is booked in)

Other horses: Good with other horses, in a group lesson, prefers to lead file.

Care & Routine:
Lives out in summer with management for his pink nose (needs daily suncream and a UV mask; he will come with 2 masks).
During winter, out during the day and likes to come in at night
Comes with bridle & rugs
Nemo has regular physio and really benefits from this
Sheath is professionally cleaned every 6 months

Nemo is a very special boy and will not go to just anyone. We would like to visit his new home and stay in touch to ensure he’s happy.

Mr Blue sky
Blue is a 12.2 competition cob who is six years old. In his first year of competing he qualified for the Quest Finals at Arena Uk. In March of 2024 he Won his class down at the BRC championships at Bury Farm representing his riding club. He actively competes with consistent scores of 70% upover in intro classes is and is competing just as well in prelim. On top of this, he also won the perpetual showing trophy 2024 and had qualified last year for the Quest Semi-Finals. Blue has also just recently placed first at the quest semi finals.

Despite his young age Blue is very sensible and never puts a foot wrong. He knows his job and is incrediably good at it. Due to his temperment and calm nature he would be perfect for a child looking to be succesful in competing even if they are new to the sport.

Blue is being sold due to no fault of his own but rather that his rider has outgrown him. Blue is a very adaptable pony and will do anything asked of him meaning he will take a child around a small course of jumps or go on an enjoyable hack. Blue really will do it all without hesitation and in a very kind manner. He is completely child safe and a very reliable pony.

He is barefoot, travels perfectly, goes out with a herd of horses, mares and gelding, good for the farrier and dentist.

The Pony would be cared for by myself on a small private yard near High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire along with our 3 other horses.

I hack regularly with my two children so a Pony that is safe cantering in open spaces and being handled by children is must.

My daughter is keen on jumping so a pony that has been there, done it, loves its job and not phased by fillers etc.

Please no youngsters/green or project ponies. We can offer a long term home for the right pony as i have a younger daughter too.

This little guy is only for sale due to my son stepping up into a 138cm. He’s taken  him from lead rope to 50/60cm. We’ve taken him to various local shows and he always comes home in the ribbons and with qualifications.

He has already qualified for a local winter series of indoor jumping, on his first trip out this winter!
He’s a great working Hunter pony which always catches the judges eye.
He loads, travels, clips, stands for farrier. He will hack anywhere and never causes any fuss.
He is happy living in or out, on his own or with others. He’s grazed with both mares and geldings without any problems.

He fantastic lead rein pony, starter pony, with lovely manners.

The Wonderful Bobby is Back Available!

This super boy was five-stage vetted last week and was unexpectedly pulled up for being slightly slow on a front flexion. He was completely sound in all other areas of the assessment and under saddle, and has never had a day sick or sorry with his current owners of 2 years. (They are also happy to disclose his vet history to support this).

He’s now been reshod and is feeling fantastic and yesterday was fully flexion tested by a top sports vet — with clear scans of his tendons and a full set of front X-rays available for interested buyers.

He’s looking and feeling better than ever — a truly lovely pony ready to find his next partner!
