I have motivated clients looking for genuine, kind, quality and proven ponies to take part in all Pony Club activities.

The ponies I would love to hear about are those not needing to be advertised to secure a new home. There is no harm in finding out whether I know of a better home and match. Perhaps you worry about your child finding it upsetting seeing their old pony regularly at rallies etc - then selling out of area could be a better solution.

These are motivated buyers receiving guidance as to what will likely suit their child - not the timewasters regularly reported. In most cases homes are also knowledgeable: simply lacking in time to conduct a search themselves. Most will also wait for the right pony so if you are not ready to sell yet - that is not an issue.

There are some decent budgets available relative to age and medical conditions etc.

Sad sale of our much loved Poppy who we've owned for over a year and is now sadly outgrown. Green passport with full breeding.

During this time we've been active PC members attending many rallies and taking part in hacking, dressage, pony camp, events, shows, fun rides and natural horsemanship.

At her previous home of 4 years she also did a wide variety of activities as a first pony for a very confident child including SJ and games.

Poppy is fantastic on the ground and children can easily handle her, tack her up and load.

She's loves her work, with plenty of scope to give a confident child lots of fun and experience. We haven't hunted her or done XC off lead but am sure she would be brilliant at it too.

Berry is amazing as a lead rein pony, off the lead rein she would need a confident rider as she can be a bit cheeky by wanting to go to words the arena gate, etc! Once she is told that shes not allowed to do that she is brilliant and will do whatevers asked.

Great to lunge and perfect on the ground. She likes to have a friend with her, if shes tied up by herself she can get quite fidgety but she soon settles.

Meet Bonnie, the ultimate confidence-boosting pony! 

She's a 13hh 8yr old all-rounder who loves teaching her little rider through all disciplines, adapting perfectly from a nervous novice to a competent competitor.

Bonnie is not fazed by an unbalanced complete beginner bouncing around. She looks after them and adapts perfectly to the skill of her rider. She is as perfectly behaved with a little rider as a taller one.

She will happily step up a gear with a more experienced rider, working in a beautiful outline, with 3 lovely paces. Always has great comments from dressage judges.

Bonnie adores children and has been cared for daily by my 12-year-old daughter. She's a joy to own, and is very easy and straightforward.

She has impeccable manners both in and out of her stable, and is kind and gentle especially with children, and senses if they are nervous, where she will be especially calm and gentle with them.

In the two years we've had Bonnie, she's transformed my daughter from a nervous rider to excelling in dressage, showjumping, and One Day Eventing. Bonnie is successfully competing at Prelim with high 60% scores and consistently places in 40cm and 50cm showjumping. She's even won a local riding club One Day Event

Bonnie happily hacks alone or in company. Will lead or follow. Great with opening gates, dismounting and mounting, all traffic, bikes, dogs, runners. Will leave the group to go for a separate canter /jump. Will stand patiently at the roadside waiting to cross/join.

Loads and travels extremely well. She is always loaded by my daughter, and is a pleasure at shows, happily standing on or off the box/trailer.

Perfect for clipping and bathing! Great in any arena, never fazed by new surroundings. We have done several arena hires/ clinics, and she never changes in a new arena or with strange horses.

She's done lots of farm rides/ cross country schooling. She's great in open spaces, happy to have a gallop, but will equally happily plod on a longer rein if asked.

Will happily go on a horse walker alone or with other horses.

Will graze in a mixed herd. Currently grazing in a large herd of mares. Not fazed by day or night turnout, and easily adapts to winter turnout of alternate days out.

Up to date with worming, teeth, farrier, physio, saddle fitter and vaccinations.

Comes to call in the field. A real eye-catching, very pretty pony with a super temperament. This is a heartbreaking sale, and only for sale due to being outgrown by my now very tall daughter!

Penny has been with us in our small loaning yard for a year now. She has done it all from teaching children to canter to cross country days at different venues to being plaited up and pony painted!!!!

She is as patient as they come and as loving as your loyal best friend. She has beautiful manners and is everyone’s best friend.

On flat work lessons she teaches children to canter and is happy for a less confident child or a child that wants to work on position. She is mannerly and works through her transitions beautifully all in a snaffle bridle.

Jumping she jumps well up to 50/55’s great cross country and very happy to jump a filler or plank. She’s happy to go around a course in trot or canter and always try’s her hardest and listens to the most smallest rider.

Hacking wow she is a superstar with a large group or alone she is always well behaved and easy going. Good in traffic and open spaces. Will jump the ditch and small hedges out and happy to potter around the village to get her riders confidence.

She is such a fabulous pony and has everything to give your child from confidence to rosettes at the local show to being the safest.

This is a hard sale for us but as summer holidays come and children go on holidays we aren’t as busy so something has to be sold.

She really enjoys jumping, easily clearing courses up to 60cm, and shows off plenty of natural spring! Knows her job and is a super sweet bonnie pony. Good to do on the ground, has also done fun rides and rides and leads off another horse. Fully registered.

Can live in or out and is bare foot. Easy to keep and has had no prior health problems. Clean legged, beautiful head and model. Snaffle mouthed.

She has a lovely walk trot and canter on and off lead. Has rode round open fields as well as arenas. Super little kids pony available at a bargain price due to owners no longer being able to keep her. No stable vices.

Violet has been with us for 5 years and was our son's lead rein pony and then he rode off the lead rein.

We have classed her as a 2nd pony only because she would not be a plod off the lead rein (at the same time she is not whizzy).

She has been well looked after by knowledgeable folk and is trimmed regularly.

Like all Welsh Ponies she likes her food but she is happy in a field or in her stable.

She is good with other horses and can be in a field on her own. She is good to catch, brush and trim and she will happily stand all day.

She has been shown locally and is happy to be ridden with other horses and is well behaved with them.

She is only for sale as our son is concentrating on other sports and she enjoys the attention of doing things and being loved.

Silver (from the Rookery line) has been the best pony to our 3 children. From my 3 year old son riding him on the lead rein in an Inly Dinky, to my 6 year old daughter coming off lead rein with such confidence to my 8 year old daughter competing in NSEA and Sunshine Tour Qualifiers. The sort of pony that means you can sit at PC Camp with a coffee and relax, or take to a local showing show and come home with all the ribbons.

Qualified for NSEA 40cm this year, and Sunshine tour intro dressage and x poles and 40 last year.

He isnt a world class jumping pony - he isnt sharp enough, but if you want a safe pony to pop over some x poles and small WHP fences in a steady, safe and controlled way, he is your boy. Has done super well as a 122 WHP, which we have done at local level.

Wonderful to hack, but prefers company when he does, either a parent on foot / bike / or another horse / pony.

Happy to live out 24/7 but happy in as well.

If you are looking for a pony who will help your child come off the LR - Silver is your boy. Can be lazy for very little legs, so we often carry a schooling whip or baton.

NEVER SHARP / SILLY / NASTY.

** Silver has had a few months off after pulling a muscle but following physio is now back in work and totally sound and happy. He does have mild sweet itch which is easily managed with the sweet itch jab or a bug buster rug **

Has competed at some of the countries biggest shows and never needs working in, plugs or calmers he is very much off the lorry a quick 5 mins and is good to go.

He has done lots of PC and riding club rallies as well as his showing. He will happily trot round over some small jumps on the lead but jumping really isn't his thing.

This is a very sad sale for us but he is still young with many more years to give to another family with small children.
