VMS DION CRUISE – TOP-CLASS CATEGORY 1 SHOWJUMPING PONY FOR SALE

14-year-old grey mare • 148 cm • FEI lifetime measured

Cruise is a loving pony who adores attention and is a pleasure to have around. She is sweet in the stable, easy to handle and a joy to ride every day. She gives her rider a safe, honest and consistent ride and is a truly exceptional schoolmistress.

In the showjumping arena, Cruise is brave, exceptionally quick and highly competitive. She has a great canter and good technique, rarely looks at fillers and absolutely loves her job. She helps her rider to the fences, is forgiving if the distance is not quite right and can also produce a beautiful, stylish round.

Cruise has competed successfully at a high level and has extensive experience at national and international shows, including major competition venues. She could suit a less experienced rider looking for a safe, knowledgeable schoolmistress, or an ambitious rider wanting to develop and compete at exciting, high-level shows.

She gives her rider confidence, helps them around the course and has proven herself a consistent, competitive pony over many years. She is also a pleasure to ride on the flat and always gives a lovely ride.

Results and highlights

* Winner of a HOYS qualifier

* Winner of a Hickstead qualifier

* Qualified for and competed at the Danish Championships

* 760 points — just short of Foxhunter and comfortably competing at JC level

Kayla’s Results 2025

* Baltic Cup Mini Tour winner in Drammen, Norway

* 1st in an MA1* class at the SJM Spring Festival

* 3rd in an S1* class at 125cm

* Qualified and took part in the Danish Championships

Kayla, Cruise’s previous rider, has now reached the age limit for pony competitions and is moving on to horses. Cruise is now with a new rider, who is still getting to know her and building a partnership with her. Their results are therefore still developing.

Our greatest wish is to find Cruise a loving family where she can become the same wonderful schoolmistress and best friend to her next rider as she has been to us.

Recent X-rays taken in the spring were clean and without remarks.

Serious enquiries only. We’re looking for the right home for Cruise, not the highest price.

🐴  COMPETITION / ALLROUNDER PONY 🐴

13.1hh | 7yo | Skewbald Cob

Very special pony looking for her next person. A genuine, fun little mare who absolutely loves her jumping and always wants to try her best. ❤️

⭐ BS up to 80cm

⭐ Unaffiliated up to 90cm

⭐ Regularly in the ribbons

⭐ Supreme Champion in the 50cm at the Sunshine Tour, Hickstead

⭐ Competed at venues across the UK

⭐ Experienced in busy competition environments

She is the type who goes out to do her job without getting silly or overexcited. She’s sensible out hacking and at competitions and genuinely seems to love being out competing.

On the ground she is an absolute sweetheart — good to catch, good to load, travels well and lovely to handle.

She’s got plenty of experience for only 7 and would suit someone wanting a competitive little pony to have lots of fun with, particularly showjumping. She has a lovely attitude towards her work and will always try for her rider.

This is a much-loved pony, so the right home is extremely important. We’d love to find someone who will continue getting her out, competing and enjoying everything she loves.

• Really lovely nature and character
• Measures 12.2hh at home
• Enthusiastic, fun and loves his job

Teddy is a very smart 11 year old gelding, with a super character and brain.

Measures 12.2hh at home with front shoes on, so should measure in under the new system.

He is established at 70/80 BS, however, has competed in 90cm classes. He's jumped small 1m courses and 1.10m single fence at home so some untapped potential there.

He is forward going and can be strong but is never nasty, just enthusiastic so would not suit a novice. He likes a balanced seat and soft hands. Handled by children, loves being groomed and fussed over. Can be headstrong on the ground at times, so needs an experienced home with competent adults.

Hacks alone or in company and leads off of another horse.

He has attended many stay aways and pony club camp.

Career highlights:

- Qualified for stepping stones nationals 2025

- Qualified for cats & pipes Scope 2025

- 6th 70cm SJ bicton mini champs 2024

- 8th 70cm eventing bicton pc regionals 2024

- Qualified 80cm and 90cm Hartpury championships

- Qualified spring festival 80cm

- Jumped in the academy teams 2024

- Qualified schools finals 70cm and 80cm

- Jumped british novice and blue-chip qualifiers

- Has arena evented and xc schooled

He would suit a confident, established rider, who wants a fun, forward ride. He is lovely and forgiving but would not suit a novice.

14.2hh Connemara Grey Mare 10 years old.

School mistress pony who has experience of all pony club activities, hunting, one day events, show jumping, hacking, fun rides and beach days out. She knows her job and is always reliable and always in the ribbons. Hunted with Berwickshire Hounds and Duke of Buccleuch Hounds last season and was outstanding, out jumping horses and loved every minute. Her last ODE she came 4th down south, winning best mare in the class. Always in the ribbons in SJ and XC/ODE. Not spooky at fillers and doesn’t stop. Marsha will always find a stride to help out the rider.

We have owned Marsha for nearly five years and in that time she has done everything with us. We have travelled her down south for ODEs and she was so easy to manage. She is easy to look after, loves to be brushed and fussed.

Good to clip

Stands like a dream for the farrier either a trim or shoes (currently barefoot)

Good with vet

Good in traffic and around farm machinery

Not fussed by dogs (pets or hounds)

Loads and travels well

Up to date with dentist, worm counts and vaccinations

She is forward going and loves to jump but she is always in a snaffle and she isn’t strong or silly

She has the scope to do BS but we didn’t register her as my eldest daughter was too tall for her and youngest isn’t competitive.

She has been chilling with our horses for the summer so is a little unfit and needs brought back into full work. We thought this would be a good time for a new partnership so her rider can get to know her and vice versa.

Comes with bridle. Her fitted jump saddle be purchased separately.

5⭐️ home required. This is a very sad sale after owning her for nearly 5 years and watching her grow from a newly broken youngster to the amazing pony she is, so finding her the right home is more important than a quick sale. Please message or call for more information, photos and videos.

Bordergrove Fairview - Full up 148cm gelding (BS measured) easily jumping 1m & 1.10 classes with wins including at Winter Pony Prems 2026. Plenty of scope for more.

Really kind, easy lovely natured pony who turns his hoof to anything. BE evented 90 & 100 plus all Pony Club activities including camp.

Snaffle mouth with a nice way of going. Brilliant to hack on his own & in company even in fairly heavy traffic.

Registered Anglo European studbook. Bred to be a horse so beautiful long stride, tons of scope.

Travels in lorry or trailer. Good to clip, catch & loves cuddles & people.. Bought from Breeder so full history known. Must go to knowledgeable kind family home.

Has always had a varied lifestyle & not over jumped at all. Would do any job but we feel show jumping is probably where he excels.

Rider is off ponies at the end of this year & already moved onto horses so he has had a fairly quiet year.

Westerlake Fagus 136.3cm (life height) gelding BS JC 680 points including 114 this year in limited outings. He has had a phenomenal record with not only my daughter for nearly 3 years but also with his previous jockeys. My daughter has won numerous BS classes from 60 to 90cm inclusive qualifying for may finals including stepping stones, bronze league, Blue Chip Pearl (85cm), He is super careful and turns on a sixpence but yet is not strong, rarely touching a pole, as his BS results show. We have not travelled to all the finals qualified for due to cost but have been to the BS Just for Schools Winter and Summer finals where this year alone he had 2 wins, 2 seconds and a 5th in very competitive classes from 60 to 80cm inclusive. He has represented his pony club winning area 80cm individual show jumping in 2025 and winning the spring festival qualifiers for the past 2 years. This year he also qualified for spring festival arena eventing.

In 2025 he was one leg of the winning mni major team at Devon County and in 2026 he helped his team to a win in the inter hunt relay there.

However Fagus thrives on variety and has also qualified for regional pony club championchips at area eventing at both 70 and 80cm taking a podium position on 2 occasions. He is also a brilliant mounted games pony qualifying for zones in 2025 and being part of the winning team at Royal Cornwall in 2025. Games is not my daughter's passion but Fagus is good enough for MGA.

He is a true all rounder having also gained a 2nd placing in a large working hunter pony class at Royal Cornwall in 2025 and has won working hunter pony, show hunter pony and pony club pony classes at our county agricultural shows. Fagus really enjoys pony club beach rides, trail hunting etc and has helped my daughter pass her pony club C and C+ tests behaving beautifully at pc rallies.

He is easy to handle on the ground in all respects, lives alone or in company, loves being out but can be stabled, loads and travels in a lorry or trailer with or without a friend and has been great with all traffic we have seen out hacking. He is shod in front only. Totally outgrown hence sale. Possibly most suited to a 10+ year old child with some competiton experience. Full wardrobe is included in the asking price. Can whatsapp videos as having difficulty uploading them.
