One of the hardest adverts i never thought i would be writing. Vitto was purchased from Holland 5 years ago for my son and i to share. He show-jumped with Ben and i affiliated for the past 4 years. We have loved every minute of having him. Sadly he has had two teeth removed over the last 4 years and no longer is happy wearing a bit. He leans and tilts his head. Extensive research has been spent at a cost of a fortune to find out why. The vets have decided hes simply happier with no bit in his mouth. So we ride him in a hackamore and he is super happy. But we can no longer show jump him as hes a sadly too strong for me now round a course of fences. He likes to be given his head and have a relaxed ride. 

Vitto loves hacking.. he will go on his own but i tend to always go out with friends. He’s easy to look after, great in traffic, not a spooky horse and goes first or last.

As i want to compete still and only have the space for one horse at home im seeking a hacking ONLY home for Vitto. No school work. Just fun with friends. He’s been happily barefoot for 2 years. Wears scoots if needed. Loves being pampered. Adores dogs.

He likes company in his field . Stabled at night only in winter and out all summer. Good doer. You must be happy to ride him in a hackamore only. Trust me i have tried every bridle combination and he is not happy . If hes not wearing a bit hes a different horse.

No lameness issues at all. No joint meds. Easy to load, clip, farrier.

I am looking for a rider, no heavier than 75kg as hes only had myself and my son on him for 5 years. I dont want him to become a weight carrier at 15 years old just because hes 16.3.

Im happy for him to move yards but not just to anywhere. Must be a well run family yard or professional yard with turnout as hes used to this. Safe countryside hacking a must. He’s been kept at home here for 5 years and has been well looked after.

Although he’s had and sensible, no novices please. I want someone experienced who wants a happy hacker now and doesn’t want to compete themselves any more. Please call me for further info. No timewasters please as this is an extremely hard decision to let him go .
