How do I place an advert?
The quickest way to advertise is via our step by step online system. Create a free HorseQuest account, place your advert, complete payment, and receive a confirmation email. If you can’t place it online, send your text, photos, video links and contact details to
enquiries@horsequest.co.uk or WhatsApp us on 07516 977082.
How much does it cost to advertise?
A standard advert for one horse is £38. The popular Horse/Pony PLUS advert is £48 and includes 3 photos, 3 videos, unlimited text, a 1-week refresh, and a Facebook feature. Prices vary for other listings like transport and breeding — see our
full pricing page.
How long will my advert be online?
All adverts stay online for 6 weeks from the date they go live.
How do I pay for my advert?
Via credit / debit card, ApplePay or PayPal. Payment is required before the advert is approved and goes live.
I’ve paid, but my advert isn’t live?
Every advert is manually checked and approved by the HorseQuest team before it is published. Adverts go live between 9am - 6pm , 7 days a week.
I’ve got more than one horse / horsebox to sell. What are my options?
Our Yard Page option is very popular if you’ve got multiple adverts to place — perfect for a yard, stud or business with a higher turnover of horses or vehicles. It’s bespoke, flexible and great value, and you’ll get your own branded page too. Find out more about our

Can I swap / add photos to my advert?
Yes. You can swap photos anytime via your HorseQuest account. Additional photos can be added for £5 each.
How do I make changes or mark my advert as sold?
Log in to ‘My HorseQuest’ to manage your advert. You can also contact the team with your advert reference number.
How can I renew my advert?
You can renew online via your account, head to MANAGE MY ADS. Reminder emails are sent before expiry. Renewals must be for the same horse or item.
What advertising upgrade options are available?
Premier (£16): featured on a section front page (e.g. Dressage horses) for 7 days.
Leader (£7.50): displayed as a thumbnail at the top of a section for 7 days.
Refresh (£5): bumps your advert back to the top — or buy a 6-week bundle for £18.75 (just £3.75 per refresh).
Social PLUS Boost (£12.50): bumps your advert back to the top and includes a feature on our Facebook page (over 90k followers).
How do I find horses and ponies for sale?
You’re in the right place! Use the purple menu to browse by category or discipline, or try our
Advanced Search to filter by height, age, price and more. You can also save search alerts in ‘My HorseQuest’.
How do I add a video?
The quickest way is to upload the videos to YouTube and pop the links on your advert. If you don't have YouTube, you can send the video files to us on WhatsApp to 07516977082 and we'll upload them for you.
