The Night Agent - Percy - 7 yo/ 12.3 traditional Gypsy Cob

Extremely Extremely sad sale of The Night Agent, affectionately known as Percy, due solely to being outgrown. If he were 14hh, he simply wouldn’t be going anywhere.

Percy is a stunning black Traditional Gypsy Cob with excellent conformation and an abundance of mane, tail and feather. He has real presence and is a pony who naturally attracts attention wherever he goes.

He is a sensible, genuine pony, ridden and produced by an 11-year-old girl. Snaffle-mouthed, naturally working in an outline and adjustable to his rider, he is suitable for a smaller or novice rider but has enough ability to be enjoyed by a more experienced teenager or small adult. He has also been introduced to jumping.

Percy remained a stallion until the age of five, so was started later than many of his peers and consequently has low mileage for a 7-year-old. This gives his next owner a fantastic opportunity to continue developing him.

He has been well exposed to different environments, including Somerford, stay-away shows and evening performances, behaving impeccably throughout. He has also been lightly shown this season.

His quality, conformation and traditional type make him a very exciting prospect for the SEIB Traditional Gypsy Cob HOYS classes, with the potential to be a serious contender with further production.

Away from the spotlight, Percy is a firm yard favourite and is good to catch, shoe, load, clip and with the vet. He hacks alone or in company and is good in open spaces.

A brand-new, made-to-measure Black Country saddle is included.

Tilly is a striking splashed traditional filly with a beautiful small head, good bone, plenty of feather and the presence and stamp sought after in a traditional cob ❤️

She has an interesting pedigree, with Atkins Silver Storm on her sire’s side and Bridgend Elvis on her dam’s side. Atkins Silver Storm has an impressive showing record, including winning the BSPS Champion Coloured Performance at London International 2025, as well as championship success with CHAPS.

Tilly has been very well handled and is good with children, loves a fuss and comes to call in the field. She has a sensible, straightforward nature and recently had her first bath in over 12 months, standing quietly and taking the whole experience completely in her stride. She has lived on a working farm so is used to all sorts of machinery.

She has all the ingredients to make an exciting future junior coloured/showing prospect, with the type, breeding and presence to produce on for the ring. She is eligible for CHAPS and TGCA overstamping.

Equally, Tilly would make a fabulous Pony Club all-rounder. She has a willing, laid-back attitude and the sort of nature that could make her a child’s best friend.
