The most lovely mare we have had for a very long time, she is incredibly easy to do in every way. She has three naturally balanced and uphill paces, she has attended some unaffiliated prelim dressage and combined training shows gaining over 70%.

Her jump is amazing, bold, careful and naturally athletic. She is gaining high marks for her jumping within the BYEH classes and has latterly jumped her first BN at a County Show.

Her behaviour at shows is impeccable.

She has jumped some small logs and cross country fences at home but is yet to go cross country schooling due to us not wanting to rush her, she again is brave and scopey.

She will hack alone and in company in the heaviest of traffic, snaffle mouthed at all times.

In a lorry or a trailer. She is not mareish at all and will run with mares or geldings.

Ada’s Boy is an exceptional 4yo who has everything you could want in a modern day sports horse.

Bart is a striking 16.1hh 5yr old dun gelding. He is by Dexter R, who has sired numerous 5* event horses including Jeweetwel and Kappricio. Dexter R is successful in his own right, having competed up to 1.60 level show jumping and has produced both top-level jumping horses and 5* event horses. His dam is by Moonlight Silver Shadow, who is a successful Connemara stallion.

Bart has jumped BS tracks on a ticket, competed unaffiliated dressage and been cross country schooling. He shows talent over a fence and is flashy on the flat. This guy is a real eye-catching model who gets noticed and commented on wherever we go.

He hacks alone and in company, is good in traffic and open spaces, is snaffle-mouthed in all phases and a general pleasure to have around the yard. You couldn’t ask for more in a young horse. Sox is a beautiful mare with three quality paces and a lovely, kind temperament.

She is snaffle-mouthed, honest and genuine, with an adjustable stride making her straightforward to ride into a fence. She is confident with water, ditches and skinnies, and has successfully competed at BE100 level. Wellington is a vice free gentleman who has just completed his first Spring eventing with professional event rider, with excellent results (BE name Toneymore Cellano) – including winning the BE 90 Open at Larkhill and Littleton Manor, and has always been placed in the top third of the field in his BE 100s. He is not the finished article but is very willing, helpful and talented – he is extremely careful. Produced for eventing by top event rider and is a lovely balanced well schooled ride. 

He hunted two seasons in Ireland (including field mastering as a 4 yr old!!), and three seasons with the Beaufort. He is snaffle mouthed, very independent (has been used for trail laying as well as in the field for all three seasons – great out on his own and is good out on point). Very careful and scopey, will trot and pop, queue, or pull out and jump your own place including gates/wire. He is an absolute pleasure to hunt and a real eye catching sort who fills the eye. 

He is a proper horse with great quality and scope who deserves a good jockey / family to pilot and enjoy him.

First to see will buy, homes will be vetted – if at all possible I’d adore a family yard with varied lifestyle.

Completely vice free in the yard for clipping, shoeing, catching, loading, hacking alone or in company, great with traffic, dogs, general mayhem – just a straight forward relaxed boy. 

His full history known from birth with a fan club who’d love to keep in touch if at all possible. I have owned him for three years. 

This boy is an absolute treasure, he truly is as honest as the day is long. Never wanting to be unhelpful, only ever wanting to please + with the added bonus of being as safe as you can find, for a proper sized horse he really is a golden retriever in spirit. 

He’ll be deeply deeply missed and if for one reason or another he does return back onto the market years down the line, I would very much like to have first refusal for him.

Very consistent horse who produces a pleasing test and has a bold and scopey jump. He has started eventing this season, completing 3 BE80’s having a WIN and being placed 2nd and 5th. He had his first run at BE90 round a full-up undulating course and was clear XC – video available on request.
