We are looking for a proven, but safe and sane, BE100 Schoolmaster for a capable older teenage girl.

She is petite and slight, so nothing over 16.1hh please.

We will be competing at BE100 (so any horse does not need to jump higher but a bonus if it can and has previous experience), PC Teams, NSEA, clinics etc...

The horse will have a varied life but not be overworked, so ideally something that is looking to step down but still eligible to compete at grassroots level.

We are happy to look at an older horse but nothing older than 15 please and nothing younger than 9-ish, as we don't want a project or something with potential.

We are based in Lincolnshire, so something within a couple of hours of Lincoln would be perfect.

Budget is high teens possible early twenties for the perfect horse.

Our list of wants:

Good BE record, especially clear at XC.
The horse must have a good brain and be easy to look after at home. Must also stand on the trailer nicely.
Gelding or mare.
Not fussed on breed but ideally not a TB.
Good stable manners are a must, as it the ability to hack out alone.
We are open to medical conditions, quirks etc... as long as they are disclosed.
Horse will be subject to 5 stage vetting and x-rays.
Nothing strong or dangerous please, no bolters, rearers, biters etc.. must have a kind temperament.

Horse will be kept at home by an experienced family with a great support network.

MJ is a special horse that will mean the absolute world to his new owner.

He scores well on the flat and knows all his movements very well. Very easy to train.

He is a very careful show jumper. Has jumped 6/8 clear rounds this year up to intermediate level.

Xc he is a machine - probably one of the straightest horses I have ridden. He never runs out or stops and always gives 200%. He has one xc fault this year which was a circle between two fences and not a run out or stop( is on video if you don’t believe me)

His greatest ability is his brain- he tries so hard for you and always works to offer his best- tries hard in every phase. Never wants to touch a pole and looks for the flags xc

Mj is a beautiful soul who is a pleasure to deal with and will be the absolute horse of a lifetime for the right person. However he would not be for everyone. He has his quirks. He needs a competent/confident rider. He is a big horse and is big to ride and can be cold backed when you first get on. But once you establish a bond with him he will trust you and dig so deep for you. He doesn’t have a bad bone in his body and is absolute safe and fine if you know what you are doing, but would not suit someone who is nervous or inexperienced.

MJ would be perfect for a brave and confident rider who wants to be very competitive at both national and international level. Would also be great for a good young rider looking to get on junior/young rider teams- He is currently competing at intermediate, but is very low mileage for his age and easily has the ability to go on.

Finch Fancy (Frenchie) is the best XC horse you will ever ride. She is bold, with massive scope, adjustable, will go off any stride and has the speed for 5*.

She is neat and athletic over show jumps and comes out on the final day wanting to jump clear.
