I am looking for a genuine, safe pony for lightweight older lady to hack and do low level Riding Club clinics.. The pony must be easy in every way , load on trailer , be bombproof ( I know no pony is, but as good as it gets!) and be happy hacking alone and in company .We don't need a superstar , but a well schooled pony that genuinely enjoys exploring the countryside! The pony must be excellent in traffic, including large farm vehicles and never consider napping, bucking or rearing!

I am searching for a genuine, level-headed, and fun all-rounder to become a long-term member of our family. The ideal candidate will enjoy a varied lifestyle including Riding Club clinics, unaffiliated/affiliated British Dressage (BD), grassroots British Eventing (BE), arena eventing, and pleasurable hacking.

Safe, sane, honest, and sensible. Level-headed in open spaces and new environments.

Height Approx. 15.3hh – 16.3hh (flexible for the right horse).

Aged betwwn 5 & 12 years (ideally established enough to go straight out and enjoy activities).

Confident on the flat, brave and willing over fences (SJ and XC). No vices, rearers, or bolters.

100% good to do in all ways—catch, shoe, clip, wash, load/travel (trailer or lorry), and hack (solo and in company).

I am a 27 year old rider looking to take the plunge and buy my first horse, after years of sharing at the same yard. Would also consider full loan.

The requirements include:

- Cob or cob cross between 14.3-16hh (rider is 5ft8)

- Ideally aged between 8-14. Would accept younger if very sensible and safe but nothing younger than 6.

- Gelding preferred but open to mare if affectionate, kind and not mareish

- A safe, fun and sensible allrounder looking for a varied life, including happy hacking, lessons, fun rides, camps and clinics!

- Must be sane and sensible out hacking and be used to a variety of things, including cyclists, various machinery and manage motorway bridges and train bridges with encouragement.

- Horse will be highly pampered, enjoying lots of grooming sessions and cuddles! Must be a people person and like spending lots of time with me, as will be on assisted DIY.

- Enjoy schooling max twice a week, as owner would like to learn and grow with the horse, but this would always be varied as I get bored in the school too!

- Possibility of dressage shows, small clear rounds in the future. Bonus points if will jump the odd log now and again!

- Will receive daily turnout, including possibility of 24/7 turnout in the summer. Stabled overnight in winter.

I'm an adult beginner rider, looking for a sensible, confidence-giving horse that I can learn and progress with.

Ideally looking for:

16hh or above

8 years old or older

Kind, calm and forgiving temperament

Well-schooled and established, rather than green or sharp

Sensible to hack, ideally alone and in company

Happy with general schooling and some low-level jumping

Good manners on the ground and straightforward to handle

The horse will be kept on full livery, with experienced support and regular schooling by the yard, so there will be plenty of help on hand.

I'm not looking to compete seriously, just to develop my riding, enjoy hacking, schooling and a bit of jumping, and hopefully build a great partnership.

Budget: Ideally £10,000–£12,000, but flexible for the right horse.

Based in Norfolk, happy to travel for the right one.

This will be a long-term home, and I'm in no rush to buy. Temperament and suitability are far more important to me than breed, colour or competition history.
