Betty is an 8-year-old dun and white mare, standing at approximately 13.2/3hh.

She is a sturdy, genuine little cob who has been a valued member of our trekking centre for the past two seasons. Betty is good to shoe, load and bath, and is a kind, easy pony to have around.

Betty is good in traffic, around farm machinery and in open spaces (especially the Welsh hills!). She has mainly been used for hacking but is also schooling nicely and showing promise over some small jumps, with a willing attitude to learn. She currently lives happily in a large mixed herd.

Betty would suit a teenager or small adult and would make a fantastic mother/daughter share or an ideal second pony. With her lovely stride and forward-going attitude, Betty is always keen to get on with the job and is a pleasure to ride. She would happily enjoy a life as a happy hacker, has the potential to make a lovely Pony Club pony or a great driving pony in the future.

Betty has been a fantastic guide pony for me personally this season. She is a star at opening gates, riding and leading, she’s brave at the front and leads the trek well. Betty is equally happy going along in the middle or at the back of the trek and she will hack out alone but is used to going out in a group day to day. She is as wide as she is tall & takes up the leg well.

She really is a lovely, honest pony with plenty to offer, and we would love to find her the very best home. She is only for sale due to the closure of our trekking centre this autumn and reduction in stock.

We are selling our youngest daughters first pony. We are a riding family however our youngest just isn’t bothered so we would rather Dee Dee was with a family were she has a job and is having fun. She is a lovely nature and super sweet girl. She is happy out or in and with mare’s or geldings. 

She has taught my youngest to ride. Our teenage daughter who is a super confident rider has been taking her out. She has done a little hunting showjumping general schooling and hacking. She will happily pop a jump. 

She is very respectful when out and doses not take off or attempt anything silly. ( our youngest 9yo daughter after only riding for 2 weeks started hacking her out with us ) 

She does have a sarcoid on her inner rear leg. It doesn’t effect her however will need removing at some point. Our vet suggested doing it in the winter so we aren’t battling the heat. We would like the best home for her. 

She’s a sweet little pony and will bring a lot of fun. We have advertised her for £1500.00 we think this is a fair price for her given she will need the sarcoid taking off in the near future. We have been quoted £750.00 for this. For the right home for her we would consider an offer. We can send videos on request.

Dexter, approx 14.1 black cob gelding. 16yrs. 

Super happy hacker. 100% in every way, clips, loads, bathes, always barefoot. Dexter has been on loan to the same family for almost 5 years where they have mainly hacked/fun rides. 

He’s the first to greet you, lovely personality - he loves to be spoiled and will stand forever to be pampered. Occasionally needs to be reminded of his manners on the ground, as can be determined when he sees grass! He comes with all his tack and rugs.

On Wednesday he passed a stage 2 vetting, but the vet did notice some mild Cpl, which unfortunately put the prospective buyer off. With the right care - lots of turnout/excercise, keeping weight down and a low sugar diet, this is very manageable.

Dexter would suit anybody! He doesn’t live life in the fast lane, but he is super safe, you don’t have to consistently nag him, he’s just a little more ‘steady’ than some. What a great thing to be! He goes first/last/somewhere in the middle. Can be a little more enthusiastic in company but never in danger of not stopping. Every loves Dexter.

He’s carrying a little extra weight currently, on a weight management plan and needs to continue to do so. Has never had lami.
