He is a beautiful, sensitive gelding with three expressive paces who thrives with a quiet, sympathetic rider. He has impeccable stable manners and is one of the easiest horses to own. He is good to catch, handle, shoe, load and travel, and is a pleasure to have on the yard.

He enjoys hacking, particularly in company, where he will happily go all day on the buckle. He also loves his flatwork and works beautifully when ridden consistently. He has attended polework clinics and really enjoys this type of work.

He is not a horse who enjoys the atmosphere of showjumping competitions. He becomes anxious in that environment and, despite years of patient work, it is clear this is not the job he enjoys. For that reason, I am looking for a home where he can continue to do what he loves, whether that is hacking, schooling, clinics or low-level dressage with a kind, understanding rider which is the reason that I have come to this decision. Sadly I have no interest in dressage and he has too much to offer to be wasted.

He spent a period of time on loan at Talland School of Equitation as a school horse where he become a firm favourite and really excelled in his flatwork. He has jumped BS on a ticket and also xc schooled but a jumping home would not be suitable for him.

He is kind by nature, but he is a sensitive horse who responds best to soft, tactful riding. He is not suitable for someone who relies on force or strong handling, as he will lose confidence. In the right hands, he is a lovely, willing partner who gives his best.

This sale is entirely about finding him the right home and a suitable home is my absolute priority. Homes will be vetted carefully, and I would love to keep in touch with his future owner if they are happy to do so.

Upto date with teeth, shoes and vacs. Plenty more videos and photos upon request. I have owned him since a 5 year old.

Gingernut is a sweet mare with a kind nature. Good to hack alone, or in company, and good to ride & lead from. 

She has hunted 'properly' for 2 seasons, and hunter trialled & novice team chased.

 Good to handle on the ground. Good in traffic and to shoe.

 She is a fun mare that everyone in our yard rides. 

She is not suitable to be owned by a complete novice, but is a seasoned hunter that is fun to ride and is very happy schooling. She is afun horse to have to ride.

Bengi is a handsome 16.1hh cob gelding who is who is safe and sensible to do in every way. Will hack on his own or in company, good in open spaces and great with dogs; he is sensible and not spooky. I have taken him to a few entry level dressage competitions over the years, fun rides, and he has seen me through many stages of Pony Club and BHS; he has been the best first horse one could ask for.

Due to arthritic changes in his front coffin joints (medicated and happily sound, but reflected in price), he is being sold as a happy hacker - ideally to a forever home where he can live out the rest of his years. He is in regular work and I currently both hack and school him- he is medicated, sound, and happy to work. He has only been hacked off-road while I have owned him but the hacking routes run alongside the road and he has never been spooky with cars going past. On the odd occasion, I have had beginners on him, and he has kept them safe and been fantastic with them. I have owned him for the past 5 years, and he has brought me nothing but happiness.

He has a playful and independent streak on the ground while managing to remain safe and endearing- he is a fundamentally safe, unique, and charming gelding who will excel in the right home.

Sensibly priced to reflect his age and capabilities. Easy to do on the ground: loading, travelling, and shoeing. Up to date on teeth and vaccinations. Sedate to clip. Must be turned out alone.

Alice is a beautiful mare who I bought as a brood mare a few years ago. Unfortunately she did not take last year so we started riding her. She had been backed as a 4yo and we bought her back into work at the beginning of the year
