Rafiki has been with me 18 months now proving a super young dressage prospect.

He is sired by le formidable with JAZZ on the dam Line. 3 elastic paces, balanced and trainable.

Rafiki has been to several arena hires and a few unaffiliated dressage competitions gaining 65-70% in his preliminary tests, he is schooling novice level at home, hacks alone or in company, been over poles and been to the woods!

Easy to catch, load, travel, clip,shoe and dentist etc.

Sad, genuine sale for a much loved boy. Only for sale due to myself being a jump/ event rider and simply do not have the time to stretch competing dressage also which isn’t fair on him!

Although Fiki is very safe and never ever nasty, he isn’t a complete novice ride. He has no medical history and is fit and ready for someone to really enjoy!

Since day one he has been a very easy horse in every respect, from starting to his first show he has impressed us with his desire to work for his rider and take everything in his stride. At his first show he won the four year old qualifier class and secured a ticket to the Young Horse Semi finals, which we very much look forward to seeing him attend either with us or his new rider.

He is a real yard favourite, always wanting to please and do his best. Although he is only four he already shows 3 very good basic paces, all presented with a good uphill way of going and secure balance. All qualities of a top dressage horse!

Freddie (Mercurio II) was bought from Portugal as a 4 year old, and has been produced to BD Grand Prix by an experienced amateur lady rider.

He has three correct paces and is a very established small tour horse, with many scores up to 69%, and good performances at High Profile and Premier League. Most recently placed 9th Inter 1 at Addington PL with 66%.

He has competed at Grand Prix since Summer 2025, with scores 65-67% The two 65% were at High Profile events, gaining top 5 placings.

Freddie is a really fun, forward going horse to compete. He really tries hard, with judging comments praising his genuineness and effort.

He is established in all his work; highlights being very easy changes down to 1 tempi, canter pirouettes and a big medium trot. He has a correct walk rhythm and good over track, so his walk marks have been reliable.

Freddie would be an ideal schoolmaster for a younger rider or small to medium sized adult wanting to have fun at small tour and to get a feel for all the movements upto GP.
A good, suitable home is a priority.

Freddie is good to shoe, load etc etc, is used to living in or part time out (he is a very good doer so grass needs to be limited!)

He is very sweet person, well mannered and good to handle at shows as well as at home.
