15.3hh / 16hh approx. Stan was entered into the Dressage section at the BEF Futurity's as a foal and as a 3 year old scoring a Higher First premiums on both occasions. He scored 8.75 for his Frame and build both times.
Stan's sire Brennus B is owned and trained by International Dressage rider Johanne Dykes and was purchased by her from Equine Elite in 2010 as a 4 year old. He has a truly wonderful temperament, one of the best I have seen in a stallion which he passes on to his progeny. Brennus has an amazing trainable attitude to his work which was shown in his results as a 5 year old on the 2011 Sunshine Tour, finishing 2nd in the Final. On his first UK outing he scored 82% winning and qualifying for shearwater finals. He won his 6 year old qualifying class at Hickstead with 80%. He then was invited to the viewing class for the 2nd year running to attend the Breeding Championships in Verden. Proof in Brennus Bs worth of having a potentially successful career was highlighted when he was picked for team GB. This wasn't the route his owner wanted to carry out with him but still a super acknowledgment of his abilities.
He has now just started his Grand Prix outings, looking very promising for the future. He has outstanding quality, great conformation, amazing movement, top proven pedigree, accompanied by the trainable attitude and super temperament needed to go far in competitions. Now Gelded purely because his grown jewels where in the way of his work, and with NO frozen semen available this is a very rare and one off chance to own a future star from this wonderful sire. His two 2013 progeny are now out competing and taking top placings.
Brennus's sire is the famous Grand Prix stallion Diamond Hit. He himself has many wins at Grand Prix, represented his country and qualified for the Olympic games in 2008. He has also sired over 30 approved stallion sons and was VTV dressage stallion of the year in 2005. His dam Reine B (by Rubinstein) is also an international Grand Prix mare that was trained and competed from Novice to Grand Prix by Lotje Schoots. The combination have represented their country winning many European Championships together. Reine B is now leased to Lotje's student, Dutch FEI pony rider Mercedes Verweij. Brennus B is Reine B's first embryo transfer foal along side siblings by stallions such as Totilas, Jazz, Sunny Boy and Valeron
Stan's dam Florestamber who is by the famous Florestan 1 out of a Samber mare, was also trained and produced by rider Johanne Dykes. She purchased her direct from the breeder as a 3 year old, backed and produced her from Novice to PSG. Florestamber won best potential dressage horse MARE at just 4 years old. The combination had many successes thereafter but their biggest achievement was the Sunshine Tour in 2008. Florestamber qualified for the final kur owners classes and came 9th overall. Johanne said that she never stopped giving and trying, a mare also with a huge trainable attitude and big heart, with a sweet temperament. On their return they qualified for the Nivarna Spa young PSG horse. Florestamber has since produced her first foal by Jazz, Glorestan Jazz in 2011 who gained a Higher First Premium, just missing out on an Elite with 8.96. He finished 5th out of 56, 3 year old Dressage horses that was presented at the BEF Futurity that year and was selected for the 2015 Equine Bridge. Glorestan went on to be sold at an Elite auction abroad as a coming 4 year old for 35,000 euros and is now out competing . Diamond Rock 2013 full sibling to Myspires Brenstan Hit came home with a Higher First Premium as a yearling and finished 14th out of 34 Dressage yearlings in 2014. He is now out competing aswell.
Fideramber by Fidermark, uncle to Stan is out of the same dam as Florestamber, was also purchased at the same time as his sister by Johanne, direct from the stud in Holland as a 2 year old. She trained him until he was 7, then trainer Sarah Millis continued and competed him in the 2008 Sunshine small Tour. He was sold in the 2008 equine elite auction and has been competed by Daniel Watson at National and International Grand Prix for Great Britain. Together they achieved best British horse at Rotterdam Nations Cup 2014 scoring 70.56%. This is one of many successes over the seasons they have had together. Fideramber was one of the reserve horses on the British Team for the 2014 World Equestrian Games. He was for sale on euro dressage for £300,000 – £350,000 at the time!
As you can see from all of the above, Stan is a very exciting prospect for any enthusiastic dressage rider, with a huge background of proven parents, grandparents, siblings and many other relations. He has a Top Class pedigree and is one to have for a future dressage career.
Stan is up to date with his teeth, wormer, vacs etc.
He has recently been backed in the last couple of months. He is proving very willing and straight forward. All the basics of walk, trot and canter are there. He hacks alone or in company, not your average youngster being not phased and bold. Highly recommend this special youngster who is worth his weight in gold, will not only be competitive but easy and fun to work with.
