In that time she has competed in beginner first ridden, first ridden, open large breeds, beginner cradles, u10and junior mounted games at national ,with some great successes

All PonyClub disciplines and just been a fabulous pony for my daughter .

She will jump happily up to 60cm, beyond that you need to ride her.

We have never had to put her on a leadrein.
Loves to be fussed, child can catch her and turn her out. Easy load in trailer or lorry, excellent to travel, will stand on the box all day without a care in the world.

Over the last two years Marcus has taught my then novice 12 year old how to ride taking her all the way to Royal International and narrowly missing out on their HOYS ticket gaining 2nd place twice in their first season. Also eligible for part bred classes.

He requires no working in, calmers or plugs.

Marcus does monthly dressage with the local riding club and is always in the ribbons.

He lives happily in or out, enjoys hacking, beach rides, fun rides. My daughter took him hunting this winter and he looked after her perfectly. Would make a good mother/daughter share.

Travels well in a trailer or lorry. Good with farrier and to clip and is up to date with teeth and vaccinations. Open to vetting.

Only for sale as my daughter is out of class on him.

Beautiful 5-Year-Old Purebred Connemara Gelding – Quinn – 15hh Grey

Reserve Champion – 2025 Sligo County Show

Quinn is a 5-year-old, 15hh purebred Connemara gelding who stands out immediately for his quality, presence, and exceptional temperament. He is a true model of the breed—a beautiful, well-made pony with good bone, excellent shoulder and hind end, and three balanced, rhythmical paces that make him eye-catching in any arena. His traditional Connemara head, with a bright, intelligent, kind eye, completes the picture.

Show Record & Potential

Quinn is already proving himself in the ring. He was Reserve Champion at this year’s Sligo County Show, showing his correctness, way of going, and natural quality against strong competition. He is the type judges notice—clean, elegant, and well-schooled for his age without being overproduced.

He is an excellent candidate for ridden Connemara classes, performance classes, dressage, working hunter, and eventing. With his paces and temperament, he has the scope to continue progressing quickly.

Temperament – Quiet, Honest, and Reliable

Quinn has a truly lovely nature. He is quiet and sensible but also forward, responsive, and enjoyable. He has been ridden here by novice teenagers and gives them confidence.

Soft mouth
Light and easy to ride
Never strong or silly
Always keen, ears forward, and ready to work
Very genuine and forgiving
He is the ideal mix of fun and safe—a pony you can trust but still enjoy.

Jumping & Cross Country

Quinn loves his jumping.

Loose jumps over 1.20m effortlessly
Brave, careful, and naturally athletic
Bold and honest across country
Takes everything in his stride—ditches, drops, water, banks and combinations
He has the qualities to excel in eventing, hunter trials, pony club, jumping leagues, and he would also make a superb hunter, as he’s straightforward, balanced, and not phased by new places or fences.

Hacking & Everyday Riding

Quinn is excellent to hack out:

Alone or in company
Good in traffic
Sensible in open fields and new environments
Happy to pop drains, logs, or simply stroll home on a loose rein
He is the same ride after a day off and does not need to be worked down—he has a naturally calm, willing attitude.

Who He Suits

Quinn would suit:

A confident teenager looking for a competitive, fun partner
A mother–daughter share
A rider wanting to produce a talented young horse with incredible potential
Someone wanting a safe but forward-thinking pony with a great work ethic
He is a genuine all-rounder with the quality and brain to excel in any direction.

Breeding

Quinn is beautifully bred, from some of Ireland’s best and most proven Connemara lines:

Sire: Lough Melvin Gorteen
Dam lines: Western Boy × Aran Flight
He carries the traditional Connemara traits—intelligence, courage, athleticism, and a kind, cooperative nature.

Manners & Handling

Quinn is a pleasure in every way:

No stable vices
Easy to shoe
Easy to box and load
Easy to clip
Good to catch
Sensible to handle in all situations
He is straightforward to manage, appreciates routine but is not fussy, and settles well wherever he goes.

Vetting, Price & Extras

Open to any vetting
Price includes delivery to your yard in the UK
Exchange available if you are not satisfied—complete peace of mind

Glenford Rose is a homebred eight-year-old registered Connemara performance Class one mare with ability and personality.

She qualified two years consecutively for the prestigious RDS Connemara Performance class placing 6th overall in 2025. She has proven to be a top prospect for eventing with a brilliant attitude for cross country competing up to 105cm in Tattersalls, Flowerhill, etc.

She is straight and correct with a snaffle mouth and uphill movement. She has hunted and showjumped.

Rose has been brought on slowly with her future in mind; firstly, qualifying for the Clifden Connemara pony All Ireland three-year-old loose jumping which her mother Glenford Lola won, then qualifying for the Clifden green working hunter and then progressing on to RDS Dublin qualifiers.

Most importantly she is extremely affectionate and loving. She will walk up to you in the field and after months off you can tack up and ride safely. She has great stable manners, easy to shoe, box, etc.

She has been there, done it and is suitable for someone that may want to compete in eventing, do Connemara or plated working hunter.
