Rex is a 11.3hh grey gelding. Rising 10. Very chunky, leg in each corner type with lovely paces.
He wasn't gelded and broken until the end of his 7th year so really hasn't had a lot of mileage for his age. He was broken and produced solely by an 11 year old.
He was bought at the end of 2023 to do first ridden and cradle stakes (he did this successfully in his previous home, with placings in HOYS first ridden qualifiers and winning novice workers and training stakes including at the BSPS champs)
Unfortunately his jockey had massively lost her confidence having a fall with a pony we tried before buying him. Although Rex has been an angel with her, he has been wasted for the last year as she has not been up to doing what we had planned for them and now she has totally outgrown him.
He has been to only two shows this year but won FR at both shows. She hasn't jumped him at all as she hasn't been confident enough. So he hasn't jumped since we bought him. We now have got him back jumping again and he is really enjoying it.
He is not done enough to be a schoolmaster with his jumping. He is still green and needs bringing on more but has a lot of potential to be a top cradle stakes, junior whp and LIHS qualifiers.
He is the sort who will doddle around when not being asked much but he does step up a gear and is forward when asked more and can get strong when jumping so he needs a confident little jockey to jump him.
Ideal for First ridden, cradle stakes/junior workers/LIHS Qualifiers.
Lovely temperament. Good to hack out and in traffic etc
Can be viewed in Surrey

Pure bred Connemara mare 10 years old full up and rides bigger but with the benefit of a 138 AHC
This pony has done literally everything for my daughter, bringing her from local pony club level to competing and winning at regional and national levels across a wide range of disciplines, including:
- Showing – winning at County and winning and placing at National level including placing in the top 8 at The Royal International Open 143 Show Hunter Pony 2023 (highest placed amateur produced), qualifying for 148 Performance Pony at The London International and Pretty Polly Mixed Height Show Hunter Pony at The Royal International.
- Show Jumping – regularly competing and clear at 80 and 90cm classes in both Pony Club and Unaffiliated classes. Won 100cm PC SJ class at Bury Farm in last two weeks.
- Eventing – placing top 3 and double clear at PC grassroots ODEs in 2023 and placing in top 6 at Eastern Regional Championships.
- Working Hunter – clear and placing in top 5 at BSPS Summer Championship Novice Plaited 143 2023, top Junior 100cm Training Stakes at BSPS Winter Championships 2024, 2nd at RI Open Plaited Working Hunter qualifiers 2024 and winning Novice M&M 143cm class at NPS Summer Championships 2024.
We have also taken this pony on hound exercise and hunting in a snaffle and taken her pony racing at Lingfield Park. She placed at the NPS Arena Eventing 90cm qualifier at the Summer Championships qualifying for the national final of this event. Her past owners did a lot of dressage with her and qualified for Pony Club Nationals but my daughter isn’t that interested in pure dressage. She has been to plenty of Pony Club events and camp. She is easy to ride in an outline, has brakes and only needs the briefest warm ups at events. She is only for sale because my daughter’s priorities have changed and she has her hands full.
Beyond these results she is a completely safe pony; the most novice rider can be out on her but she can change up the gears for more experienced and forward riders. She hacks out in company or alone, goes first or last and is dependable in traffic and open fields. She is easy to clip, shoe, plait and wash and good for the dentist and vet. She is never sick or sorry. She is good in the stable and is a dream at stay away shows. She loads easily and travels quietly, standing on the lorry all day and other horses can be taken away without a problem. Almost whole life history known.
The downsides of the pony are minor: she’s not particularly cuddly and, although she can be affectionate, it’s on her terms. We turn her out a lot and I think she’s better in a quiet environment. We have a lot of stallions on the yard and have put her on regumate during our season which I think has helped chill her out and would recommend continuing. She also has a typical “fleshy” Connemara lip so we change her bit quite regularly and only use a fixed or sleeved bit.
No dealers please and a text to arrange a call would be appreciated.

Sid loves hacking alone or in company . Loves farm rides Beach rides. Mother or daughter share. Would excel in dressage because of his movement.
Although we have shown him sucessfully as a SHP he would also excel as a pony club allrounder. This is an ideal for a top class level or would be good for stars and local showing a been there and done pony.
He is a pleasure to do requires no working in at shows or calmers required. Sid is good to box, shoe , clip up update with vaccinations .we have owned Sid for two years.
This is a sad sale due to change of circumstances hence this sale.

14.1/14.2hh (approx) liver chestnut gelding just turned 15 years old.
Frankie is an absolutely wonderful and honest all-rounder, and would be a perfect first or second pony for anyone looking. He was originally a riding school pony, but since we’ve had him he’s really come on nicely.
He's tried his hand at everything: showing, dressage, showjumping and cross-country.
Frankie has qualified for STARS champion of champions 2024 and won the overall Show Hunter Pony 2024 class at Longton Riding Club in his first season!
Frankie has good stable manners, stands to be brushed, tacked up etc and has a wonderful, sensible temperament.
When riding, Frankie is quiet and well-mannered for those less-experienced but can kick it up a gear for those more adventurous, jumping 60-80cm confidently and has even jumped 1m in the school.
He hacks out quietly in company and alone and is a curious, nosy sort of boy, will make a lovely adventuring companion for his next rider.
He is not a beginner ride due to being occasionally a bit stubborn.
