2nd place in the Royal Dublin Horse Show 153 SHP 2019

Ref #: 217830
  • 2ND RDS Dublin Horse Show 2019 153 SHP - Youngest in the class and was impeccable throughout the entire experience. Faultless in the Championship - An absolute beauty
  • Please see results tab - Lightly campaigned this season as a 153SHP and did not come home this season without a championship go around and a title. Moves like a dream and conformation is superb.
  • Sired by Hoys qualified flat and WHP 'Fear an TI'. Same dam as Miss Tonic, European Showjumping Silver Medalist. This talented mare is schooling 90cm and 1m SJ/XC (water no issue!) currently and will be ready to come out as an open 153 next season.

A difficult decision to advertise this talented 5yo mare. As rider going into final year of university we have had to make this realistic choice.

She was never bought to sell, we had pinned her as our intermediate WH prospect but she simply hasn’t stretched. Height certed easily at 153 this year. Rider sadly out of class. Although she has more than enough ability to jump the intermediate tracks for us we can not be selfish. She is the total package as a 153 WHP and it would be a shame for us to hold her back this winter as our rider studies for final year in university. She has been slowly and correctly educated and has had a varied time with us. She is a serious prospect in multiple disciplines, but her outstanding beauty and faultless confirmation had made SHP and WHP an obvious choice for us.

Gin has exceeded our expectations in all ways. She has HOYS stamped on her as a ridden SHP and with more time will undoubtedly be a HOYS worker in the correct hands. All the foundations are in place to be continued on in a special new home.

As our rider is out of class for 153 we made a quick decision to campaign her with a rider for SHP classes. Her rider jumped on at their first show and came home reserve champion. She has not had a show yet where she has come home without the championship and a title.

Gin has expressive, smooth gaits. Totally dreamy. Has been thrown marks in the dressage ring. She has the most exquisite head, she can not go anywhere without being complimented. Gin thrives off her work and improves on every outing. Very quick to learn, has had balanced flying changes from a 4yr old.

The icing to her summer was the Royal Dublin Horse Show where she came come 2nd in the 153 SHP and had an impeccable championship go around, stood beautifully as the youngest in all sections.

This mare is quality enough to simply be a show hunter but she is bred to jump! She is a Half sister, on the dam's side, to European SJ Silver Medallist Miss Tonic. This impressive jump has certainly been passed on, this mare will be a 1.20 jumper without a doubt. The best is yet to come. Her Sire the Connemara stallion,Fear an TI, has qualified for both HOYS flat and WHP.

She has XC schooled, which she loves and competed some 2phases. This mare could make a very nice eventer. If we had more time we would have had some events under her belt

Serious enquires only for the special mare, as this has been a very tough decision and only the most experienced top class homes need apply. Where she will be loved as much as she is here, and where she will get the correct onward education she deserves.

Located one hour from both Belfast and Dublin airports, and we are happy to collect.

By the stunning Connemara stallion Currachmore Cashel x Bobby's Grace

Extremely smart gelding brought over from Ireland as a 5 year old having hunted a season - hard to find sort as competitive in any sphere.

Super safe and extremely straightforward, ideal transition from ponies to horses for competitive child or teenager. Quality enough to compete at WHP with three good straight paces.

Has enjoyed riding club camps at Stockland Lovell and SJ camps and very well behaved away from home.

Now competing at BE80 but with masses of scope to move up the levels. Very tidy dressage with the ability to produce tests in the 20's.

Competed in all three disciplines this season and regularly placed in the top 3.

Placed 3rd BE Arena Eventing at Bicton in January qualifying for BE 80 champs.

Double clear in his team at BRC qualifiers but just out of the ribbons as 12 secs inside time.

3rd after dressage in first BE90 at Pontispool.  Double clear at Bicton ODE Riding Club qualifiers. Still learning but showing great promise both xc and SJ.

Sadly eliminated at first BE as rider missed a fence xc.

Totally bombproof in traffic, excellent to load, clip and shoe.

Very sweet natured chap who is happy to live in or out.

No vices and open to vetting.

Only for sale through no fault of his own.

Very attractive Registered Welsh Section B Gelding 132.5cm LHC .

Easy to do in all ways will make a fantastic child's pony.

Sunny has spent some time in Ireland with a previous owner where he was a prolific winner of M&M / Plaited WHP Classes. He has also been lightly campaigned in England in plaited HOY'S WHP qualifiers (placed 3rd , 5th and 6th respectively)

Sunny is a kind happy pony, he will happily hack out alone or in company, lives in or out. Excellent to shoe, clip, trim, wash and load .

Sunny has a very atheltic jump and has bags of scope .

Sunny is only for sale as my daughter has prematurely outgrown him so a 10* home is a must for this very special pony, we are in no hurry to sell him so if the right home doesn't come along we will keep him for another year.

Would suit a competitive home with an experienced competitive Jockey.

He is forward going but not strong, no novices please. He has schooled around many cross country courses, happy in and out of the water, lots of pony club, camp, been on the PC SJ team, has hunted .

Sunny is capable of doing a very good dressage test would easily PC Event or could be shown as a flat pony previously qualifying for RI as a M&M can be seen and tried in Kent .

Milo has numerous wins and championships to his name, is only ever ridden by a child and never lunged at shows, he has a great jump on him jumping 80-90cm tracks at home, his best is yet to come either as a show hunter pony or as a cradle or open mountain and moorland working hunter pony.

I have owned Flash since he was 6 months old and he is now very sadly for sale due to my step-daughter outgrowing him and him having no jockey

Flash is amazing in all disciplines and could easily go far in any sphere be it show-jumping, dressage or any pony club activities

He has fantastic movement, conformation and a super scopey careful jump

He has done all pony club activities, beach rides and has also shown a great talent for mounted games. He is also equally as sensible out hacking and to handle

Flash was shown at county level as a 3 year old and went to swpa champs in hand for 3 days winning the competition young stock class

He was backed as a rising 4 year old and lightly competed by a local young rider qualifying for the inter-team dressage champs gaining 9th place overall

He has since been ridden regularly by a nervous 7 year old who has gained masses of confidence on him and started hacking off the lead and jumping in a field and he has also been show jumped and x country schooled by various other children

Flash is great with normal day to day stuff to the point you can clip his ears without putting a headcollar on and has been handled by children of all ages

His only problem is that his nose burns in the sun and you have to put factor 50 on every day in the summer. He will turn out on his own or with other horses but also loves to be stabled and will happily stay in on his own with no fuss

This is a very sad sale of this fabulous, kind pony in a million to the right home only

Second pony / pony club pony for sale. Angel is a lovely roan section B mare with a lovely nature. She is between 12.2/13hh (Not had a stick on her recently) she is 9yrs old

We have had Angel 4yrs and she wasnt backed until coming to us as a 5 rising 6yr old. This was due to her previous owner having her as a pet and company for her other horse. She is keen to learn and has a willing attitude towards work. She is not a kick on pony but is safe. Never bucks, rears or naps.

She has been showjumping, cross country, sponsored rides, showing both flat and workers all with good results . She has also been out with hounds a couple which she loved but was extremely keen and wanted to be up front.

Hacking she is a fab little pony. She has seen all traffic from cars up to tractors and double decker buses. She is better in company however will hack on her own but needs an experienced rider to give her confidence but we feel she would get better at this just we all mainly hack as a group

We are looking for the best possible home for this amazing little pony, she has been a fab spare for my sister and I to use however she is too good to be a spare and deserves someone to give her full love and attention and be someones best friend. Based South Lincs.

Qualified and placed in BOTH the Stepping Stones final and Bronze League 138 final at the 2019 British Showjumping national championships.

In 2018 qualified for Stepping Stones and Scope.

A helpful uncomplicated ride, forward going but not strong, snaffle mouth. Great at XC !

Formerly a working hunter, this lovely stamp of a pony is wonderful on the ground, an easy traveller in both trailer and lorry, lives in or out, is extremely kind and genuine, and is really lovely to hack.

He would be an ideal second pony for pony club/all rounder job, or a first competition pony for showjumping where he has consistently been double clear and placed up to 1metre. He is not a first pony.

Home more important than price for this super pony.

  • Very careful and consistent Jumper, can turn on a sixpence and will jump off any stride

Forrest is a 7 year old New Forest pony who has an "old head on young shoulders" and is not phased by anything. He is the perfect all-rounder PC "Mothers Dream" pony. He competes BE90, has qualified for NSEA Champs 4 years on the run in SJ & JWS 80-1m (in teams and individually), and PC Regional Champs two years running. Forrest loves big events and always remains calm, making him a fabulous reliable, consistent team member.

At the age of 11 my daughter started riding Forrest who was then only 4 years old. During this time he has been brought on by my daughter with the assistance of top class trainers.

Forrest is an amazing pony who is extremely trustworthy and versatile, enabling my daughter to have fun competing PC, BE, BD and NSEA as well as hacking out alone or in company, riding bare back in the open field, hunting, beach rides, PC Camps, Hunt Relays, WHP and generally doing everything in looking after him.

Within the first month of having Forrest (aged 4) they had qualified for SJ at NSEA Champs and they have continued being successful in all disciplines whilst also having fun. He is always placed in NSEA SJ, JWS & Dressage (individual and teams - qualified for 2019 Champs 80-1m SJ&JWS), BE 80 & 90, WH (1st at Cheshire Show 2019 - qualified for POYS), PC (Regional Champs all disciplines two years running), Princethorpe 2DE (3rd individually).

He will suit either a nervous rider looking to gain confidence or a more competitive rider looking to win because he can turn on a sixpence and will jump off any stride. He is a superb pony who has the potential to go to the very top, hence high asking price.

He is good to clip, shoe, stud, plait, pull mane, travel, stay away from home at competitions, stand on the box etc.

Ridden by both my children in the 6 years we have owned him. Successfully competed in first ridden and lead rein classes at County and local showing, Has also taken part in pony club rallies, show jumping, cross country, working hunter and pony club camp.

Loves going out in the trailer but he is also great to hack, he goes out around the farm, and through the woods, happy to go at the pace the rider wants to. Doesn’t worry if there is a gap between him and other ponies going ahead of him.

Hasn’t hunted with us but was hunted before we bought him by a 6 year old girl and was perfectly behaved. I think he would make a great little hunting pony.

He is easy to handle and look after, a pleasure to have a round. My children find him the easiest out of our ponies to catch, lead in and out to the field, change rugs, pick out feet and tack up.

Great to bath, box, shoe, clip, box and in traffic. Use to large farm machinery. Up to date with vaccinations, teeth and wormers. No laminitis or sweet itch.

This pony has so much to offer, my children are now moving on to bigger ponies. Would like to find him a wonderful new home where he will get to go out and compete, have fun and be enjoyed.

Dabernon Georgia (Cocoa) is a really flashy, beautifully well bred, 9 year old Welsh Section C 13hh mare. She has fantastic versatility & scope in any sphere.

Cocoa qualified (in her previous home) for the Mountain and Moreland Welsh Cs and Ds at the Royal International Show 2015, in her first year at M&M classes. Her brother qualified for HOYS 2018, siblings and relations have impeccable M&M credentials and she has real super star potential. Would make a top WHP as she loves jumping (as can be seen from her BS record) and is very brave.

As our daughter’s obsessed with jumping (& we have no idea how to show ponies!), Cocoa’s had a fantastic time (and huge success) showjumping and loves cross-country.

She’s really bold, never worried by fillers or spooky & is keen to just get on jumping - she never bucks, rears or is unpredictable. She can turn in a sixpence & is super-fast against the clock.

In addition to her showing track record and credentials mentioned above, Cocoa’s achievements with us include:

  • 5th at Trailblazers Championships in 2019
  • 1st BSJA Pony Intro (70cm) at Rockhampton
  • 2 x 1st places in BSJA Just for Schools at Kings Sedgemoor (70cm) and Chard 70 cm (in huge class), as well as 3rd over 80 cm at Chard
  • 5th in NSEA Regional Championships 2018 at Bury Farm, in 75cm Individual class (against much older children)
  • 17th at Trailblazers final 2018 at Stoneleigh (at their first attempt jumping at this level, in a huge class)
  • Qualified for 3 classes for Trailblazers finals 2019 (at first attempt)
  • 1sts in BSJA just for schools (individual)
  • 2nd in team BSJA just for schools
  • 6th in her first affiliated 80cm class
  • 1st in her first cross-country at Mendip Plains 2017, in a really big class with much older children
  • Filling my daughter’s room with rosettes (& her heart with sheer joy as she did so!)
  • Multiple wins unaffiliated

Cocoa’s fab to have on the yard, super trustworthy & our daughter rides her bareback to & from the field, in a head collar. She would easily carry an adult, so can make a mother/daughter share.

Only for sale as our daughters both want to progress to much bigger BS classes.

No time wasters please, as Cocoa’s an incredibly genuine pony, our daughter’s best friend & needs a 10 star home (please).

Tons of pictures & videos available. Please call on mobile.
