Truly gut wrenching sale of this pony of a lifetime. He has given us so much but with our need changing the time is right to find him his next family.

Tortoise is a big moving, scopey Shetland. He has been a HOYS finalist as an open and on the Lead Rein (home produced) and the Royal International on the lead and first ridden.

He has the most fantastic walk and is well schooled in all paces.

He has great ability over fences and really loves the challenge of jumping. He did a season of junior workers and performed well with some near misses. He has also been lightly contested in junior flat HOYS classes being placed second on a couple of occasions- he would be perfect for this job.

Tortoise is a performance pony, he love to use his body and would excel in Workers, Opens and Juniors - he is also a fabulous first ridden for an established confident jockey that wants to do more than trot round in the arena and give him a varied lifestyle.

He qualified for the Royal International this year in the First Ridden with a nervous jockey in her first season of showing at this level

He has just given us the most brilliant week at NPS summer champs, featuring in the concours, pairs and LR evening performances with a 3rd, 2nd and 8th. He also won the Showing Classics LR Final.

We have a house full of rosette, trophies and sashes from him, he really has made all our dreams come true.

He is very easy to have at home and is always handled by little children, he is perfect to hack/feet/jabs/teeth/load/travel.

Genuine enquiries only please, this is a very tough decision.

Super homebred 3 year old bay gelding, he has a super personality and will be an asset to any yard.

He will excel in what ever he will do as he loves to please.

He travels great either with another or on his own, he is super to handle day to day and just loves attention and cuddles.

He has lived out with another for most of his life and he’s been stabled over the winters.

He has fabulous movement so would make an excellent WHP, eventer or a show-jumper.

Very reluctant sale as he is an absolute gentleman already and he is sure to be a star in the future.

  • Would suit any discipline

Fantastic connemara / warmblood lines. Great confirmation, vice and blemish free

Storm is looking for a quiet, sympathetic rider to do abit of everything

She would suit any discipline, would make a super working hunter pony, loves a field gallop

Storm has been owned since a 2yr filly bought from breeder directly. Unspoiled youngster professionally backed by Gail Wannacott and brought on professionally by Ellen Churchill showjumping. Has not been rushed in her development.

Storm hacks out in traffic alone or in company, good with farrier easy to load and travel. Happy to stay in or out in field and stable alone or in company.

Currently jumping around British novice (90cm) on a ticket and has done a couple dressage tests.

Attended training shows such as onley, Bicton, chard and Dorset showground, also attended numerous stay away shows.

Storm is a young pony so can have the odd excited buck and can be quirky in her own way, therefore not suitable for a novice rider

Has been jumped by teenager at home and hacks out by 14yr teenage girl.

Storm is for sale through no fault of her own, junior jockey has two top track ponies and no time to produce young pony due to school and family commitments.

A beautiful section. We’ve owned Romeo since a yearling.

He contested 3 hoys qualifiers last year in the small juniors and Open B’s. So many wins to mention.

This year he has started jumping ad doing workers. He loves to jump and isn’t fazed by fillers etc. Has been XC schooling, showing jumping and done all types of PC rallies.

He even jumped a derby last weekend. He goes beautiful on the flat and really enjoys his work.

Excellent to do in every way. He a definite Hoys contender as a junior/ open or as a worker. Would suit a competent jockey.

No vices.

This stunning boy has huge potential, Really top quality wasted at present with me , this gorgeous boy needs a job to do and with my daughter being too young at the moment to show him and myself having no time he is doing nothing.

He will only go to a top home where his potential can be worked towards.

He has a wonderful temperament and is so easy to work with.

He was backed as 3 year old then turned away, the plan was to bring him on this year but the summer has flown and we’ve been too busy with my daughters 12.2’s .

My 11 year old daughter sat on him 2 weeks ago for the first time this year and walked trotted and cantered on the lunge no fuss so he really will be easy for someone to produce.

He has covered naturally twice and both mares took first time producing beautiful colts so this also could be a job for him.

I have only shown him once as a 2 year old in a large youngstock class and he won.

This is such a hard decision as i really wanted to see him with my daughter one day but i just don’t have the time right now which is why i will consider a sale or a loan but only to the right home, please phone for any information, I have owned him since he was 7 months old and he is well loved, fully vaccinated, had his teeth done, good for the farrier ( he is barefoot)

A top class M&M WHP and probably one of the most consistent 122 cms this year.

We’ve owned Bobby since a foal. He has done everything with us from PC camp, show jumping, XC and workers.

Qualified Royal international the last 2 years jumping around clear this year. He was open A Champiom at the Welsh performance show. Has jumped so many clear rounds this year around tricky Hoys tracks narrowly missing out on his ticket.

Never been sick nor sorry, would suit a competent jockey. Too many championships and wins to mention over the years.

He’s now completely outgrown.

Fleur is a full up 13.2 she has competed affiliated dressage up to novice, training elementary, has taken part in BD youth this spring/summer aswell as Petplan Area Festivals.

She has a lovely jump, happily jumping around a course of 70cm, scope to go higher with the right rider, my daughter isnt a show jumper. This summer she has done working hunter and flat classes always in the top 3 placings with some lovely comments from the judges, we have also taken her arena eventing.

I'd describe Fleur as a steady 2nd pony, she isn't the type to run off and isn't sharp off the leg but will go if asked. She has been to the beach and the gallops and is the same at home or away, she really enjoys a stay away show and isn't fazed by a busy environment.

Fleur hacks alone or in company, loads and travels perfectly and will stand on the trailer all day if needed. She is upto date with teeth and vaccinations. Has lived on her own and in a mixed herd, happy to be stabled or turned out and doesn't mind if her routine is changed.

Sadly outgrown so please only serious enquiries, she is fit and ready to continue her adventures with a new partner, the perfect pony club pony or would equally suit a small adult as takes up the leg

We are looking for a nice competition pony for our super keen 9 year old daughter to join our family farm. Our daughter has very sadly out grown her amazing 122, so we are looking for a quality 133 pony that can turn its hoof to everything from all pony club activities to county level showing.

Ideally looking for a pony that has a proven WH record and capable of jumping nursery stakes / open tracks (HOYS / RI tracks would be a bonus) and works nicely on the flat. Would prefer a gelding.

Must be safe in open spaces and not strong or silly and no quirks - needs to be 100% in everyway with no health issues.

We live rural and do hack, so would be good if safe in traffic.

We are offering a loving knowledge home.

Decent budget for the right pony.

Pebbles is a delight to have around. We have produced all her siblings and they all have careers in eventing and pony club.

She’s been carefully backed and ridden away all summer. She’s enjoyed hacking out and jumping. She’s proving to have a very decent jump.

She’s moves beautifully and would make a super WHP, pony club or all rounder.

Super little winter project.

She’s ready for a little break so will be turned away if not sold.

She’s has no blemishes or marks, bumps or lumps, she’s great do feet, load, etc. she is open to any vetting.

Bunny is sweet natured, homebred and produced by myself.

I had hopes to compete Bunny myself in M&M WHP classes. However, due to lack of time and other commitments I have decided to sell her . I really feel she would be more suited to a junior rider.

She is easy to do in all respects and is never mare-ish. She has had lots of good results in showing both in hand and in flat classes including (just a few):

1st Welsh Section A Okehampton and Champion (2018 2 & 3yr, 2022 4yr mare)
3rd Welsh Section A NPS Picton Novice Final (2019)
1st Small Breeds Ringside Dorset County (2019)
2nd Welsh Section A Ridden Devon County Show (2023)

She easily qualifies for NPS Championships. She is wasted with me and I would love a kid to be out and enjoying her. As well as her successes showing she is a forward going mare with a super jump. She loves her jumping and is always coming to a fence. I am sure she will excel in any sphere.

Exceptionally well bred fell gelding with cracking conformation. He is well schooled in all three paces and makes a great effort when asked to gallop.

He has great manners in open spaces, he enjoys jumping and would excell In m&m working hunter classes although this is something we have only touched on and not yet explored.

He has many results in flat showing locally and at County level and taken many championships.

He's good to shoe, clip, dentist. He can get unsettled at times so would require a confident teen/adult to continue building his confidence.

Top class prospect for the Shetland National or Performance Teams 2025

Mavis was purchased in the Summer 2023 as an unbroken 6yo to produce for a young jockey to Shetland race this year. Sadly the jockey has grown and now exceeds the height requirements. Mavis is a stunning 7yo standard shetland, professionally produced and proving to be an absolute star! Her siblings race very successfully and she will follow in their footsteps for sure. She has been to a couple of little shows, jumps very well and would also excel in the world of showing

She is easy on the ground and great with children and the farrier

Queenie - A 14.2, 4 year old, Connie x Welsh Cob, mare.

Queenie has recently come to myself on sales and to finish of her education.

She has been professionally broken by an individual who specialises in horsemanship, which shows in her fantastic manners.

To school - she has balanced, supple and naturally uphill paces; and would produce a fabulous dressage test or show with some fine tuning.

To jump - whilst she really hasn’t done much as I like to take my youngsters slowly, she is incredibly sweet to a fence.

I can see this mare dominating the show ring either on the flat or the workers. She would be a fantastic winter project for a young or small rider wanting to produce there own.

To hack - she is reliable both in company and alone. Obviously she is young so may have a look but has a much older head on her shoulders. She loves a canter track and isn’t opposed to popping a small log or ditch.

She is a pleasure to have on the yard, picks all her feet up, polite to clip and for the farrier. When loading on my trailer she took 30 seconds, not out of naughtiness more so unsure of what we were asking!

Open to all viewings, instructors, vettings and X Rays.
Based in Retford.

Coppathorne Alesha.

A rare opportunity to own a well produced allrounder who is ready to go on to be a dressage superstar, a WHP, a Pony Club pony or a fun mother/daughter share.

A well bred pony, by the renowned late Powysvalley Matty, Copper was bought direct from the breeder and has been brought on slowly and carefully. She is currently working elem/medium at home with establised counter canter/leg yield/shoulder in/simple changes. She has 33 BD points in limited outings and recently attended the PetPlan Area Festival at Elementary level. She has also qualified for the Associate Championships at Elementary. She loves to work but does not need riding every day and can be left for a while without any issue. She has recently started her WHP career, and is really enjoying her jumping with definite potential for Open tracks in the future. She is fit and out attending hound exerise and competitions currently and will continue to be competed until she is sold.

Good to hack out on her own and in company, very good with traffic. Has attended hound exercise. She is alway well behaved when out (not mareish at all) and perfect in the busiest of warm up arenas. She is up to date with vaccinations, worming, teeth. Good for farrier (happy to be shod but mainly barefoot), clipping, loading and travelling (we have a trailer). No vices. Lives in or out, can eat any food or hay. She is never sick or sorry but does have mild sweet itch which is managed with rugs and this is reflected in her price. She is open to any vetting. Very happy to discuss this aspect of her management.

Copper is a lovely pony to have around. Only for sale as my daughter has been at University all the time since we purchased her and is has now decided to move to London so plans for horse riding are on the back burner and this pony is too good and enjoys her work too much to sit in the field.

She loves jumping, so also showing lots of potential for novice M&M WHP and worker stakes.

Beautiful mover with lovely paces and good conformation. A lovely stamp of a pony, with loads of presence and excellent Class 1 breeding with Abbeyleix Owen and Moy Hazy Cover bloodlines. N/N HWSD.

Easy to take out, good to load, travels well. Has done clinics, arena hires, indoor and outdoor shows including the big atmosphere county shows. Has been shown in Junior, Open, Amateur and home produced classes.

Up to date with vaccinations, teeth, worming and good to do (farrier, teeth, vet etc.).

She is a Teenagers dream pony and is ideal for a competent teenager looking to compete in the Junior M&M classes, as well as amateur, home produced and open M&M classes. Also showing potential for worker stakes/novice M&M workers.

Sadly offered for sale, looking for a 5* home where she can go on and fulfil her potential. Serious enquiries only - for more information please whatsapp or phone for a chat.

Rosie is a fabulous pony taking a nervous jockey round all the county shows this year from M&M first ridden to M&M juniors, she also was a member of the fancy dress team at the Nps  with a 6 year old jockey and utility pony.

There are not many out there who can adapt like her, she hacks down the busiest of roads and rides a beautiful dressage test, we have just started popping a few poles and very much feel with a little bit of time and education she would do the workers to.

She has very correct conformation and the most delightful temperament, she is beautifully schooled with a lovely soft  snaffle mouth.

Rosie would love to be someone’s new best friend as now very sadly totally outgrown.

She is up to date with everything and very easy pony to do.
