Meet King, a gentle giant who is looking for his new home as a non-ridden companion. King would suit a home where he can enjoy his retirement with other geldings.

He is a yard favourite with both the yard team and volunteers who come onto site. He is easy to catch, lead, groom and have his feet picked out and is generally a pleasure to have around.

As a Thoroughbred King is excellent at taking additional grass! Meaning he doesn't need restrictive management in any form. A great addition to other large horses of similar management.

Based in a Foster Home – Aberystwyth University

Meet Rocky a handsome gelding who is looking for a new home where he can enjoy a quieter life as a non–ridden companion. As a bigger horse, Rocky is excellent at taking additional grass! Meaning he doesn't need restrictive management in any form. A great addition to other large horses of similar management.

Rocky is established in all of his handling and likes human attention. He’s polite to lead, happy being groomed, and is good for his feet to be picked out. He’s been excellent for the vet and farrier whilst at his foster home.

Rocky would suit a home where he can enjoy his retirement after a ridden career with his other horsey friends. Rocky can live with both mares and geldings and can also stay alone for short periods of time making him the perfect companion to any ridden horse.

Meet Newt, a handsome gelding who is looking for his new home as a non-ridden companion. Once he is settled in his new environment, Newt is easy to catch, groom, lead and have his feet picked out. He just needs a patient handler to give him time to settle into his new routine.

Newt is currently living out 24/7 in a mixed herd but is happy to be part stabled depending on what his new home would prefer to do. As a Morgan Horse, Newt is excellent at taking additional grass! Meaning he doesn't need restrictive management in any form. A great addition to other large horses of similar management.

His perfect handler will enjoy bonding with their horses, giving them daily attention and patience while he settles into his new home.

Meet Fred, a spirited old man who is looking for his new home as a non-ridden companion. Although Fred is in his older years he doesn’t act his age and is still a kid at heart.

Fred is currently living out 24/7 in a herd of geldings, both big and small, old and young. He mixes well in the herd and looks after the younger ponies in the field, so would be a great baby sitter for a big herd. He does get attached to his field friends so will need equine company at all times.

Fred will need his grazing restricted in his new home, so would suit a home with other horses who have similar grazing requirements. He can be part stabled so is an easy addition to any horsey family.
