Based at Rolleston Centre

Meet Olly, a handsome gelding who is looking for his new home as a non-ridden companion. Olly does get attached to his equine friends so does require equine company at all times, so would be a great addition to a retired gelding herd.

Olly is generally easy to handle including being good to catch lead and groom. He does require some extra training with his leg handling so does require an experienced handler.

Olly is currently turned out at night and stabled during the day on soaked hay for weight management, so will need a home where he can continue to be on restricted grazing.

Can you offer Olly a loving home?

SHETLAND PAIR

Iz and Poppy are a bonded pair of Shetland mares, seeking a home as the only pair of shetlands in the home!

They are good to handle in all ways and seek a quiet lease of life with a loving family. Iz provides a little more comfort to Poppy who is the more timid of the two.

Due to their breed and size they require good fencing and someone that can manage their grazing requirements.

Dorris is a lovely mare looking for a home as a companion after coming into our care due to her owner's change in circumstances. She is a sweet-natured mare who gets on well with other horses and is happy to share a hay pile with her field companions.

Dorris is currently living out 24/7, and is happy to be with mares or geldings. Once she has settled into her new environment, she is good to handle and enjoys human interaction. She is very easy to catch, happily accepts her headcollar, stands well for all four feet to be picked out, and enjoys being groomed while tied up with a haynet. Dorris can be a little forward when being led in new surroundings, so she would be best suited to a handler who is confident around larger horses. She is very good for both the vet and farrier, does not require overly restricted grazing, and would make a fantastic companion for other horses looking for a kind and settled field friend.
