Born feral on Dartmoor, Pitta had very limited handling before arriving with us, but he has made fantastic progress and is thriving with routine, patient, confident handling. Pitta has recently been castrated, and we are now progressing with building up his confidence with the farrier. He can be rehomed either as a potential project pony for an experienced home or as a companion.

Pitta is now becoming confident to catch, enjoys leading, likes being groomed, and is steadily progressing with his leg handling and farrier preparation. He is currently living out in a gelding herd and enjoys the company of other horses.

Pitta would suit an experienced and understanding adopter who can continue his confidence-building and basic education at his pace, helping him develop into a well-handled and happy pony.
