Tea is a sweet 15.3hh, 8-year-old Thoroughbred mare who originally came into Blue Cross care following a private owner relinquishment. Tea is now looking for a non-ridden companion home where she can enjoy a happy, settled life.

Tea is a lovely mare to handle and enjoys spending time with people. She is good to catch, lead, groom and have her feet picked out, and has been well behaved for both the vet and farrier. She currently lives happily within a mixed herd and gets along well with everybody, and once settled she may be able to stay alone for short periods.

Tea's ideal home will be one looking for an affectionate, straightforward companion to join their existing horse or herd.

Woody is a super cute teen gelding looking for a loving non-ridden companion home. He originally came into Blue Cross care in 2015 following a transfer from the RSPCA and has since enjoyed time in homes, most recently returning to us following the loss of his companion.

Woody is a lovely, friendly pony who really enjoys attention from his handlers. He is good to catch, lead, groom and have all four feet picked out, with good basic handling responses. He has also travelled very well for us, standing quietly on the trailer. His sweet, people-friendly nature means he may even suit a therapy-type home.

Currently living out 24/7 with another gelding, Woody has also lived with mares previously and is happy to part-stable when needed. Once settled, he is able to stay alone for short periods, making him a potentially versatile little companion for the right home.

Hummus is a lovely young mare who came into our care in August 2026 as a transfer from the RSPCA. She is a very sweet and people-oriented pony who enjoys spending time with her handlers and loves a good groom. As she is still young, Hummus is looking for a home that can continue her education through patient, consistent handling to help her grow in confidence. She is currently working on second headcollar training and learning to have her feet picked up, and is making steady progress as she gains experience.

Currently living out 24/7 with another mare, Hummus enjoys equine company and would suit a home where she can continue to develop at her own pace. With her kind nature and willingness to engage with people, she has all the qualities to become a fantastic future children's project pony. Equally, she would be very happy in a caring companion home where she can continue building her confidence and forming strong bonds with her handlers.

Tyrell is an absolutely adorable gelding who came into Blue Cross care in August 2026 as a transfer from the Irish Horse Welfare Trust. Small in stature but big in charm, Tyrell is a sweet and affectionate youngster who loves attention from his handlers and enjoys a good scratch. He is very easy to catch, enjoys being groomed and is a laid-back boy who takes life in his stride.

Like any young horse, he is still learning and building his confidence, but he approaches new experiences with a willing attitude and is a pleasure to spend time with. Currently living out in a youngster herd, Tyrell gets on well with other horses and would make a fantastic companion, particularly for other youngsters. With his cute looks, kind nature and easy-going temperament, Tyrell is sure to win the hearts of everyone he meets.

Wilma is a lovely Irish Sport Horse mare who came into Blue Cross care in July 2026 due to a change in her owner's circumstances. Since arriving, she has been settling in well and showing great progress, with her confidence growing all the time. Wilma is looking for a companion home with someone who will continue to build her trust and help her develop at her own pace. She is good to lead, enjoys being groomed and is happy to have her feet picked up. We are currently working on improving her catching and helping her become more confident in new situations.

Wilma lives out 24/7 and happily shares her space in a mixed herd. She can also part stable, provided she has equine company nearby. As she is a good doer, she does require some grazing restriction to maintain a healthy weight. Wilma would make a rewarding project companion for someone who enjoys forming a close bond with their horse and supporting them as they continue to flourish.

Fern is a stunning young mare who came into Blue Cross care from the RSPCA in July 2026 and is now searching for a loving companion home. Friendly, curious and always keen to see what is going on, Fern enjoys the company of both people and other horses and would particularly love a home where she can continue to build her confidence through activities such as in-hand walks and agility.

As a youngster, she is still learning in all areas, but she is generally good to catch and lead, and can be tied up to be groomed, which she does enjoy. Fern is currently living out 24/7 in a mare herd and settles well with equine company. She could also part stable, provided she has company. She is currently working on her foot handling, as she can be a little unbalanced at times, but she is making steady progress

With her kind nature and eagerness to learn, Fern has all the ingredients to become a much-loved companion for someone willing to continue her education and enjoy helping her develop.

Meet Olly, a handsome gelding who is looking for his new home as a non-ridden companion. Olly does get attached to his equine friends so does require equine company at all times, so would be a great addition to a retired gelding herd.

Olly is generally easy to handle including being good to catch lead and groom. He does require some extra training with his leg handling so does require an experienced handler.

Olly is currently turned out at night and stabled during the day on soaked hay for weight management, so will need a home where he can continue to be on restricted grazing.

Meet Rory, a handsome young gelding who is looking for his new home as a project pony or non-ridden companion. Once Roru turns four he can start the backing process to become a future childrens pony, or would also make a great companion for other young ponies.

Rory is generally easy to handle including being good to catch, lead and groom. Due to his age he will require some consistent handling to further his education, especially with leg handling, however, will be extremely rewarding to work with.

Rory is currently living out in a gelding only herd, due to recently being castrated. He will require some restrictive grazing due to his type so is best suited living with other ponies with similar grazing needs.

Wally is progressing well with his general handling but does require some extra training in some areas, especially with his leg handling. He can be a little shy when you first meet him but is generally good to catch and lead once he gets to know you and is very rewarding to work with.

Due to Wally’s type he will require some restricted grazing and is currently stabled during the day to keep him off the grass and sunlight due to his pink nose, so will suit a home with other ponies with similar grazing needs.
