Montel is currently living out 24/7 with other geldings. He has started to get used to being stabled alone for short periods, and this training could continue in his new home if needed.

He requires a patient and calm handler. He is currently being caught with a second headcollar and needs encouragement to be caught until he gets to know his handler. He is generally good to lead once he's settled. Montel is still a little wary when getting his feet picked, so this will require ongoing training. He is starting to enjoy being groomed, but a slow approach is needed.

Due to her age she is still wearing a headcollar as part of her ongoing training, and she's currently learning the basics like being caught and having her feet picked up.

Fairfax copes well being stabled part-time with a companion and is currently living with another young mare. While she can become unsettled by food and finds multiple people in her space a little overwhelming, she’s learning to feel more comfortable with quiet, consistent routines.

Favour is a lovely, sensitive pony with huge potential. She will thrive in a home with experience, empathy, and a commitment to continuing her education at her pace.

We are happy to consider rehoming Fairfax and Favour as a pair of young ponies to be cared for until backing age. Alternatively they can be rehomed separately seeking new families.

Due to their type they are prone to laminitis, so they do require a bare to no grass turnout area. They are both currently on a non – grass turnout paddock during the day for 10 to 12 hours and are being stabled overnight with soaked hay.

Though he can be a little shy at first, Peru is making great progress in building trust and confidence. He’s responsive in hand for his age, enjoys a good scratch and full body groom, and is very good about having his feet picked out. He’s a sweetheart who really loves human attention once he knows you're kind and gentle.

He's happy living out but is also content to come into the stable part time with company next door. Peru is working on rebuilding confidence with the vet following his castration, but he’s doing better with every visit and always tries his best. He’s cooperative for the farrier too, just needs a little reassurance due to his age.

With his calm, affectionate nature and willingness to learn, Peru shows lovely potential as a lead rein pony in the future, or for in-hand showing. He would also make a perfect companion to other young ponies, especially in a quiet, nurturing home where he can continue to blossom.
