14.1hh approx. Connie x Skewbald mare 8 years old.
Real head turner, smart and beautifully marked with 3 correct paces. We purchased Mabel as a 4 year old and she’s been brought on by my 15 year old Daughter.
Mabel has done all activities over past few years, arena eventing, fun rides, pony club, dressage and showjumping.
British Dressage registered, competing at Prelim level with 60+ dressage points on record, she always receives positive feedback from judges. Has done Summer and Winter PetPlan Area festivals. Potential to progress if correct flat work training continues with a knowledgeable rider. Would make a fabulous QUEST pony.
Brilliant to hack out alone and in company, my daughter hacks her out for miles alone. Shared with Mom who also enjoys hacking her out. Mabel is a fun and forward ride and likes being out and about. Has put in the odd excited buck on canter transition when schooling.
Kept at a busy livery yard and used to big heavy machinery/tractors etc, good on roads with traffic.
Mabel has a big jump and needs a confident rider. Was competing 50-65cm successfully and always in the ribbons. Jumping courses of 70-80cm at clinics but started being cheeky so she’s not been jumped for a few years. Would therefore would need to be restarted in this area. We have lots of videos of her jumping in the past if you wanted to view these.
Front shod only. Likes routine and will live in or out with mares or mixed herd.
Good for farrier, clip, catch, load and travel. Up to date with teeth, vaccinations, back etc.
5 stage vetted when we bought her and open to any vetting. The right home is really important so looking for a confident teenager, small adult or mother/daughter share to enjoy.
Tack/Rugs may be available at separate negotiation. Much loved and very sad sale as outgrown and moving onto horses. No time wasters please.
