Very sad sale of the most charming, kindest, sweetest little dressage pony. This little pony was originally bought for my children for pony club activities and they have had an absolute ball with him including 5 day PC camp 2023 and all activities.

I started schooling Flash in 2022 and realised what a cracking little dressage pony he was. Flash is a very well balanced stocky little dude and can take the taller rider with his build (I am 5'8 and under 9 stone). I would say he could take a rider up to 9 stone max, no heavier. I have slowly schooled him up the levels starting currently competing novice and training elementary. Flash has won the riding club qualifiers this year competing at both the BRC national champs Lincoln winning with 73%. I registered him BD for the first time this summer and did 2 qualifiers, area festival and national championships. He has no BD points as I chose freestyle to music classes.

Flash also qualfied for the Equilibrium BRC national music champs in the pairs finishing in the top 10 alongside my 9 year old son. My 9 year old also rode him at the BRC nationals at Lincoln finishing 4th.

My children and I have all regularly competed in ERiders and Dressage Online competitions where Flash regularly scores over 70% and was won numerous championships and amazing prizes. In 2023, he has won the BD prelim league, elite prelim championships, team tournament, reserve champion veteran championships and prelim music league. He is a very easy pony to test ride on and has a wonderful calm, willing and workman like attitude.

We absolutely adore Flash and it is a very difficult decision to sell him now my children have outgrown him. Would suit a dressage competition home where his talent and amazing attitude can be appreciated and utilised. Only the very best of homes will be considered for this very special boy. Full competiton record is listed with the online dressage sites and will continue to be schooled and competed until sold. easy to do in all respects, good with farrier, a gent to clip, easy to load and travel to shows, quiet to hack.

Currently lives out 24/7 but can live in. Never sick / sorry / lame.

Mavis is an incredibly talented pony having had a very successful Young Pony career she is now established at Medium level and ready to find her next rider to continue her competitive career.

Mavis is an absolute star with 3 correct, active paces, a serious ability to collect and extend and an ease to all her lateral work. She has been very correctly produced and is established in all her medium work. She is clever and trainable and shows all the qualities needed to make a top-class FEI pony or equally would make a fantastic competitive BD pony for a small adult rider.

She dominated the National Young Pony competitions at Premier Leagues as a 6 year old winning at both Keysoe Premier League and Hickstead Premier League and going on to place 3rd in the overall Young Pony Championships too. Since then she has competed at Elementary and Medium level including Regional Championships with scores up to 72% at Elementary and 68% at Medium.

Mavis hacks alone and in company, is super to handle and loves her pole work.

Ted is a dream for a competitive child wanting to set the world alight showing or dressage

As mentioned above he’s been lightly competed BD with super success, rarely coming home with out a red rosette. He’s also done M&M, he’s hunted. He would be a great pony club pony. He pops a small course of fences of 70/80
(not a big track pony so if your looking for a pure showjumper he won’t suit he’s happy at the hight mentioned)

He hacks for hours loves jumping small logs along the way.

Too look at there isn’t a prettier pony in the country he is outstanding.

Sound open to vet. No stable vices

Might have an excited buck if kept in and not worked we don’t have any grazing in the winter so there for pls only css add lol if your child can ride confidently and is not a novice

Talloula is very well schooled and a complete gem to handle, she will stand for hours to be groomed, cuddled and fussed!

She is great to box, clip, shoe etc, She is a real sweetheart to handle and can be managed by a small person.

Previously attended a number of BD Youth camps. Previous owner has successfully competed at BD prelim & completed both her youth test rider and squad tests on her.

Talloula loves to jump although we haven't done a huge amount as my daughter enjoys dressage (videos available).

She is up to date with all her vaccinations, teeth and back checks. She is happy to live in or out, can be turned out with others or individual turnout.

Talloula is a nice forward ride but does take her confidence from her rider therefore not suitable for nervous/novice rider although never nasty or horrible.

She is an absolutely beautiful pony with fantastic manners. 5 star home required for this special girl

Top quality pony with a fantastic temperament and a real gentleman (very hard to find sort). Yard favorite as he is so easy.

Competed dressage up to elementary at BD including Area Festivals (and also unaffiliated). He has been well schooled throughout his life and he knows all the movements (including half pass) and balanced counter canter. He has a great work ethic and is quick to learn.

I have jumped him up to 80cm with ease (which is as high as I want to go as I am dressage focused and too old for the big tracks now). He is honest to a fence, good with his feet and he’s quick against the clock. He is careful and does not touch the fences. He does not get silly or heat up and listens. Can do a flying change.

He is always in the ribbons in all disciplines and usually first or second. We have so many rosettes I keep having to buy new holders for them.

Forward off the leg but never fizzy, you can leave him unridden for a week and he’s the same, you don’t have to lunge him. Always ridden in a snaffle. Safe enough that I have put very young children and grandmothers on his back (even whilst other horses are going nutty in the same arena) but he is not a boring plod along, loves a good gallop (when asked but happy to walk if you say that’s as fast as you want to go).

He is affectionate (always a whinny and lots of kisses to greet you), loves to be with you (will follow you around the stable and arena) but is a little face shy. He is very easy to love as he has a sweet nature and will always bow to your will (in the saddle and on the ground).

Loads in a trailer or a lorry and travels like a saint.

No vices (ground or stable), never bucked or reared (he is too much of a gentlemen). Never sick or sorry, up to date on vaccinations, teeth and worming. He has always been bare foot and has great feet, super with the farrier and to be clipped.

Good do-er and doesn’t need hay soaking or grazing muzzle in the summer.

Good to hack alone or in company, good in open spaces, will go first or last. Good with farm machinery and busses.

Passed a 5* vet just over 12 months ago. I have all his history all the way back to his first owner (only for sale as my girls have lost interest and he is a little bit too small for my husband).

Would suit a huge variety of homes as he is good across the disciplines and happy to be ridden by a teenager who either wants to have some fun or get serious or an adult looking to be competitive and safe.

Competition fit and ready to go.

Tack and wardrobe available under separate negotiation (if required).

No loans, trials or joy riders.

This outstanding pony, was formerly ridden by a Danish team pony rider. She has had numerous successes in Denmark with enormous scores in excess of 74%.

She has been used as a schoolmaster for the past year and has taken her current owner from “learning to ride” to “winning at competitions”

This dream of a pony is kind, safe and easy - she is the ultimate schoolmistress - with class!

She is never sharp, or spooky, and knows the medium level inside  out. This pony would be ideal for a child with team aspirations or small adult.

Niki and Hermione Tottman of Olivers Equestrian identified an opportunity to launch a completely personalised approach to sourcing elite level horses and ponies across the UK and Europe after personally experiencing the complex process of attaining top quality competition horses from the continent.

The highly personalised service has been developed to offer aspiring riders a package few others in the UK can – a team of two who can cover every aspect of purchasing a high-level competition horse and possess knowledge, experience and credentials to the highest level of equestrian sport: FEI.

Via the newly launched concept, riders embarking on the journey of finding their new dancing partner will be assisted by Niki and Hermione every step of the way. Designed to provide a service to clients across a range of budgets, the initiative has been curated to deliver detailed trips to Europe for viewings with trusted, specialist contacts, alongside thorough negotiation experience to achieve the best results.

What’s more, the service offers the additional support of having an international youth rider, Hermione, trial and give feedback on all horses shortlisted, along with the advice of an international dressage coach, Niki, to support the rider through each trial.

The initiative is successfully growing with confirmed sales to The Netherlands, Great Britain, Russia, Denmark, etc.

We are currently open to new clients.

Hermione Tottman, International Dressage Rider, from Olivers Equestrian said:

“We wanted to launch this service following our first-hand experiences of the international dressage circuit. Having been through the complex journey of finding my next dressage partner to help me achieve my competition goals, I now feel passionate about supporting ambitious riders in finding their next top ride.

“I believe our service offers unique insight into the private domain of top level horse sales. The majority of high quality horses and ponies are now being sold privately, and not advertised on the open market. Our clients have the benefit of being able to view these horses through our contacts”.

Niki Tottman, International Level Coach and BD Youth Assessor and Judge, from Olivers Equestrian said:

“We know that the process of finding and trialing a new, high-quality horse can be a daunting experience! That’s why we wanted to develop a service which is not only hassle-free but also offers expert guidance at every milestone. We can lead you through the sessions, and help you  to develop a feeling of the potential partnership you may have. After discussing the riders aspirations with them, I am able to use my intrinsic eye to help choose the best match for their long-term goals and to spot any potential red flags.

“The support doesn’t end once the horse is safely at its new home. We go the extra mile by designing an individualised training package for each of our clients. This ensures the new combination starts off on the right foot – we want everyone who completes this journey with us to maintain confidence once they are home and ultimately develop their partnership successfully”.

GREAT GATSBY S (Gatsby) - German Sports Pony, 13yo 148cm (FEI life height certificate)

Pony Trial/ Novice/ FEI 2* pony/FEI Dressage Pony Potential.

Gatsby has taken my daughter from BE100 to successfully competing in pony trials. He started out as a dressage pony and was the German National Champion as a 5 year old. He is generally in the top 3 after dressage. He is big moving and is very established in his flatwork, people stop to watch him! We have been told he would make a team FEI dressage pony.

Gatsby is a very careful jumper, rarely has a pole and is very careful cross country, he looks after himself and his jockey; I never worry about them coming home safe.

He is good in all ways, a real yard favourite with his sweet temperament and funny faces keeping everyone amused. The ultimate mother’s dream pony.

Very sadly available as rider is 16 and out of ponies. He will only go to the very best home, which will be vetted and to a rider that we feel matches him well.

He would happily step down to show a new rider the ropes.

He has a great trainable brain and always wants to please.

Has done some jumping and cross country. Been to horse camp and stay away shows.

Great to hack, load, travel, clip, farrier/vet, works in the arena with other horses no bother, behaves like a diamond as shows.

He does have EMS so needs a home that can manage his access to grass in spring/summer.

He is not suitable for a novice.

14.1hh Welsh B x Warmblood Dressage pony, Bay Gelding 11 years old.

Hopelessly outgrown, he has BD scores of up to 75% in Novice, with my daughter who until 2 years ago had never ridden any Dressage. He has predominantly been a dressage pony however he does jump too.

He is a dressage schoolmaster which we bought to “teach” our daughter the feel of the movements & to enable a focus on pure dressage following a bad accident on another pony.

He enjoys life in the school & had enabled my 12 (now 14) year old daughter to practice his established movements with & without a coach at her own pace up to medium, some advanced medium too. Although through no fault of his own he has a relatively light competition record due to training focus & we have now run out of time due to a growing child!

Amongst his highlights he has a change, walk to canter, Shoulder in, Half pass, walk pirouettes, rein back, excellent lateral work & plenty of gears in all of his paces.

He has been to Petplan Areas & competitions where he’s had to warm up in with the big advanced horses without losing his focus, been to stay away training camps & shows without any fuss or need to settle, loads & travels well.

Due to our personal circumstances, he has not done much hacking with us, although he has with us been hacked out in company in high winds across fields & open countryside without an issue, only occasionally hacked on roads. He is easy to keep going for a child by an adult who’s too big to ride him as he’s excellent to work in hand & on the lunge.

He lives in or out in company or on his own & is easy to do.

Suited to an experienced child or a small adult. Not suited as a first pony due to the number of “buttons” he has.

Absolutely heartbreaking sale after all he has given to our daughter in a ideal world we'd keep him but he's hopelessly outgrown now & she needs something bigger.

This is a heartbreaking, genuine sale. I have had this little horse since he was a 2 year old.

He is a very smart, flashy little horse who was backed and bought on slowly as an Event Horse. He was originally bought and started with my daughter in mind but unfortunately she totally grew out of him (5ft10") having never really got started. I have been unable to part with him up until now but with finances in mind, A Levels and GCSE's he will be waisted when he has so much to offer and wants to be busy.

He was incredibly successful during his time BE'ing. He finished 2nd in the National Foundation Points leader board running at 100 level and finished top 3 almost every time out, very often posting a top 3 dressage score. He is a horse that loves to be kept busy and an 18month non competitive break due to Covid resulted in a lost his confidence in the show jumping ring and we have never managed to get that back.

As dressage was always a phase he excels in and enjoys I would love him to go to a competitive and busy dressage home. He has 3 beautiful paces with a wonderful canter - he has lateral movements, changes and pirouettes are not too far away! He very often scored in the 20's eventing (in the 70%'s and sometimes almost 80%).

He is a quick learner, loves to please and loves his work and he would give a youngster working towards the Regional/Youth programme a lot of success and fun. He loves to hunt - a day in the hunt field every now and then to let off steam would certainly suit him! He likes to have fun - bareback, hacking, pole work - bit of variety so would really suit a capable child/teenager.

He is a competition horse, with the sharpness that goes with that so would only suit a confident jockey. He is a wonderful character and a gentleman on the ground who has a lovely attitude to his work.

Only the very best experienced homes will be considered as he is a sensitive soul who needs careful and sympathetic management - the home is very much the priority for this little horse.

148 cm (FEI life height sticker) 14yo chestnut German sports pony stallion. This exceptional pony has some outstanding career results and is a true professional whilst being incredibly easy. He was formerly eventing but has changed his focus to pure dressage and in a short space of time (with a child who had never ridden BD before) has produced some great results.

Consistently winning at medium level.

  • 2x 1st in pony Premier league tests with over 71%.
  • 1st regional medium Petplan summer final.
  • 2nd national medium Petplan summer final.

He has gained these results while only lightly being campaigned at BD as his riders first commitment is to eventing.

His record speaks for itself achieving the highest pony eventing accolades, two gold medals, one silver and being national champion. He won the Bundeschampion eventing championship in Germany for 5/6 year olds in 2015, in the same year he also finished 12th in the Dressage finals.

He is an exceptional temperament, he lives very happily amongst horses on a busy yard. He is a pleasure to deal with at home, on the lorry, out hacking, at shows and equally happy at stay away shows.

He is very sensible and focused when ridden, and on the ground. He is very happy being handled by a teenager. He is the sweetest natured pony who is eager to please. He has extraordinary presence, is beautiful looking and is sound.

He has been used for breeding and has off spring in Germany and uk.

We would love to see this incredible pony continue his dressage career. He loves to compete and deserves his change to excel at the highest level.

This absolutely stunning 148cm (FEI life measurement) 11year old Selle Francis pony is for sale as my son is off ponies.

She has been consistently placed and won at 100BE, jumped round BE novice and 1*. Jumped clear round fox hunter. Excellent dressage marks.

Beautiful pony with incredible careful technique over a fence. Would be suitable for pure show jumping . Super trained flatwork, established leg yield, half pass, medium etc.

Super x country pony. Brave and outstanding on lines.

This pony is super straight in every way, no vices. Good to hack.

I think the absolute world of this pony, due to some resolved medical history, she is very reasonably priced for a pony of this ability.

Please call in the first instance. Top class carefully produced pony.

LULU Beautiful Arab. 14.2 hands. Lovely family pony.

Ideal confidence giver for a child looking for their second pony.

She’s competed in British dressage and showing and loves hacking out / Great allrounder.

We have owned Lulu for many years, and this is a very sad sale of a much-loved pony. However, time for her to go to another child who can make the most of her as my daughter has now moved on to horses and spends much of her time competing with him.

Lulu is a fabulous pony. She started off her early life showing, and we retrained her at a professional yard in dressage, although she is sensitive in contact. She qualified for the Northern Regionals in British Dressage and came 11th which was a great result against the larger horses.

She loves been fussed over and will happily stand for plaiting and grooming

She loves hacking out and is a great allrounder. She’s been ridden bareback many times.

She’s used to going in horseboxes and is easy to handle.

We’ve stayed away with her many times over the years with British Dressage Youth Camps and she’s always settled easily and is great in the training sessions and competitions.

She’s never spooky and is great on the ground.

She likes to come into her stable on a night and easy to bring in from the field.

She’s loves companions and has had a horse and 2 Shetlands in stables next to her at home. Shetlands can be included too!

Perfect to clip, shoe, and dentist.

Likes to be stabled in the evenings. She’s very used to routine.

Lots more pictures and Videos available too.

Tack and saddle also available.
