British Dressage Results:

67.31% – Prelim

He does have a history of behavioural issues when jumping and working over poles, including refusing, rearing and attempting to bolt. These behaviours were previously managed when he was kept in professional livery with ongoing behavioural support, but have since recurred and he shows a clear reluctance towards jumping and pole work.

For this reason, he is considered best suited to a flatwork / dressage focused home.

He is currently in professional training and working very well on the flat and continuing to demonstrate a genuine aptitude for dressage. Consistent, rideable and trainable in flatwork, he is presenting well both in the arena and in open spaces, demonstrating a calm attitude and good way of going.

He has no history of injuries and has been comprehensively assessed by vet, dentist, physio and chiropractor. The behavioural issues are not believed to be pain related. He passed a full 5-stage vetting prior to purchase.

He is currently living out 24/7 and is happy either stabled or turned out full-time. He is good to handle but does not like being left alone when tied up, so benefits from company. Hacks well and is comfortable working in open spaces.

Would suit a confident adult rider, a small professional producer seeking a quality dressage prospect to continue producing, or a small professional eventer looking for a project. He is not suitable for children, novices or nervous riders.

Good to handle, load, shoe and clip. Open to vetting. Sold with full disclosure.

Serious enquiries only please – keen to find the right home.

On behalf of a client due to personal home circumstances..

Superstar 13hh 14yr old welsh C gelding. Previously been to HOYS and RIHS as an open flat C and m@m WHP.

Robbie is a superb model of a welsh C with plenty of bone and substances as well as a beautiful front and tail set. He is beautifully schooled in all three paces..

He could be a fantastic pony to make a BYRDS or dressage prospect for someone that’s ambitious and wants to take this route, alternatively he would be a superb low level allrounder/PC pony. He would suit a capable competitive child, teen or small adult- he’s a typical Welsh so not suitable for a nervous novice rider as he’s a true competition pony and not a riding school donkey.

Robbie previously went to HOYS as a flat pony, and in my opinion he still looks good enough to carry on at the high level on the flat. He has also been to HOYS and RI as a 133 m@m worker however he will not jump these tracks any more, so he is more suited to a home that wants to pop 60/70. If you are after a pony to consistently jump 80cm+ courses he’s not for you.

He loves to show jump, yesterday we took him to show jump arena hire and he flew everything with fillers at around 70cm. Today he went to dressage and done a beautiful test.

Robbie’s perfect home would be someone who would like to have fun doing a little bit of everything. He is ridden at home here by a competent 13yr old child daily including bareback.

Please please only serious enquiries as this is heartbreaking for his owner. His price is open to negotiation as his home is uttermost priority; however please don’t be offensive with offers as you wouldn’t find another pony with his CV and type anywhere else for the price he’s advertised at.

Stretcholt New Dimension, HOYS Champion and overall British Riding Pony of the Year 2019. He qualified for HOYS on his first attempt before going on to take the title, proving his exceptional quality and trainability from the outset.

A pony of immense presence, he is beautifully put together with straight, correct movement and an effortless way of going; he is incredibly comfortable to ride and look like he just floats, with expressive, balanced paces, natural cadence and an active hindleg. His movement really is something special, giving him huge potential to excel in the dressage arena as well as continuing at the very top level in showing.

Ed is an absolute delight to have around and a much loved member of the family. He has a kind, genuine temperament, is straightforward to handle and enjoys his work, always willing and quick to learn. He is good for the farrier and dentist, easy to load and travel, and a pleasure in all respects both at home and at shows.

Sadly now outgrown by my daughter, this is a heartbreaking sale of a very special pony. He would be ideal for a competitive child wanting to step straight into top track showing, or equally would suit a lightweight adult looking for a quality ride with exceptional movement and real dressage potential.

She is like a rubber ball with her versatility, whether that be stepping up for a more mature rider or looking after a keen but novice rider.

Previously, she has been out to some local dressage shows, and had been training at home at Novice/Elementary level. She excels in dressage. She is light in the contact and will stop when asked. She is forward and does not require a strong rider.

Lily has been in light work for the past two years enjoying on and off hacking due to family commitments.

Rider has moved onto a horse so unfortunately Joey is not living out his full potential now.

He Comes with a lifetime measurement certificate of 148 but is more like a 152.

Joey has an exceptional step to him and is extremely striking.

He has spent the majority of his life in the UK as a show pony with notable achievements such as winning the supreme show pony field at the BSPS summer championships.

The past 3 years he has been in Ireland doing dressage up to elementary with a teenage girl.

He is kind and intelligent but is a nervous chap at times so he is not suitable for a novice as he needs a confident, experienced rider to hold his hand. I can’t stress enough that he is a kind pony and only needs an experienced home for him to flourish. He would suit a small adult or a competitive teen.

Joey has on occasion been seen windsucking lightly but doesn’t actually follow through properly doing it, this was not disclosed to us when he was sold to us.

Vaccinations are up to date , along with teeth being done.

Squid is a 12h 10yr old welsh section a. He is a sweet pony who is easy to handle. He has three fantastic paces and is well schooled holding a consistent outline.

As well as his fabulous schooling, squid is a talented jumper and has been popping round 80cm fences at mine. He has competed up to 70cm in the riring with multiple placings.

Also, squid has been driven in his previous home however not by current owner.

Squid holds many qualifications and wins to his name. Proving him to be a successful pony in the competition ring and an experienced pony.

Here's some of his achievements to list:

Showjumping: lots of placings up to 70cm (with scope for more)

Workers: only did 3/4 classes but always placed 1-3rd including 2nd at Suffolk show

Dressage:
• Countless wins unaffiliated dressage (almost all intro tests as that’s all I could do) at many different venues, often scoring +70% with listed judges
• Riding club national championships qualifiers (area 14): 1st individual prelim, 1st pairs
• RDA regionals: 1st open grade 6 walk only (highest score of day about 74%)
• RDA national championships: 1st grade 6 walk only, class champion grade 6 (highest score), 1st freestyle. Scores over 70%.

Squid isn't a first pony however I believe he would be a lead rein if also ridden alongside a more competent rider and he loves his work. Squid is a forward pony but not nasty in any way.

Good to shoe, clip ect. (Currently barefoot has been shod in the past)

Just turned 6 years old, 14.2hh British Sports pony.

Betty has fantastic bloodlines including the prolific stallions Champion de Luxe, Dornik B, Hilken’s Black Delight and Black Boy to name a few.
Her sire, Brandon SD, has been carefully bred with temperament and rideability in mind and this has certainly come through.

Betty has three exceptional paces, isn’t mareish and has a remarkable ‘can do’ temperament, which combined makes her a serious future FEI prospect.

She has been given a fantastic, steady start to her ridden career including hacking, jumping, cross country schooling and lightly competing. Betty has remained easy to handle and impeccably behaved at every outing, gaining +70% scores in the tests she has done.

Despite her natural cadence and power she is polite and responsive to ride and has been ridden by 11 year olds, who utterly adore her!
Equally, she is positive but not strong to a jump, hasn’t been phased by any fillers and happily jumped all cross country questions without a lead.

Betty is good in every way and is an absolute dream to have around - she will definitely be your new yard favourite!
She thoroughly enjoys learning so would suit a competent child or small adult to continue her education up the levels.

For sale on behalf of the breeders, this incredibly genuine, kind and talented pony has natural ability and a mega brain making her a very exciting pony for the future - I am certainly going to miss her!

This mare is a beautiful, kind, safe superstar in the making. She always turns heads, is super safe, and at just 4 years old has already achieved high 60s at BD Prelim.

Professionally backed and produced, Hope has been in the same home since she was 5 months old. Originally purchased as a companion baby, Hope has been handled and produced in a soft, quiet, and calm way. Hope was backed last September and has been lightly hacked and schooled over the winter. She went out for her first outing in March and has pleased the judges with her attitude and paces every time. Considering she still needs more balance and practice, her self-carriage, obedience, and willingness to try are just fantastic.

She has 3 lovely, active paces, with an active trot that could really be produced further, while her walk and uphill canter have always been highlights. Hope has been out in the heaviest traffic, with other horses, and never worries. She has worked over poles on occasion, and last week she went for her first jumping lesson and proved there is nothing she will not have a go at—she loved it! We haven’t schooled cross-country yet, as that is next on our list, but I am certain that with her brave personality this will be just as easy. She has been ridden by a small adult and jumped by a 12-year-old girl.

Hope is forward in a lovely way and has never bucked, reared, or bolted. She trusts her person and is always wanting to please—she is NOT your typical bolshy Welsh! She is great to load and with the farrier, vets, etc. We have never clipped her, so I’m not sure about that. She has never been sick or lame, has no vices, and everything, including her teeth and vaccinations, is up to date. She even saw the physio on 06/04/26. She has been so easy to back and work with, a real sweetheart, and looks stunning!

Hope has done her companion job and is now ready for her own little person or people to have fun with. I can see this pony excelling in any discipline with the right home—a 5-star home that is prepared to put the time and effort in. We love Hope very much, and she will only be sold to the right family.

Based near Peterborough/Stamford.

We have owned Archie for the last 7 years and has been a pleasure to own. He has been competed by both my daughters and they have both had many wins and champions with him. Always a strong contender in both part bred, open classes and qualifying for the Royal International.
Archie is very well schooled with excellent movenment he would make a beautiful dressage pony.
Archie is only for sale as both girls are out of class and pursuing their Business ventures. We are looking for a 5* home for Archie as he is being wasted with us. He thrives on work and is fit and ready to go..
