He has won and been placed in numerous working hunter classes both as a 4yo and a 5yo, including the Great Yorkshire Show Novice Worker, where he achieved the highest jumping mark. He has also been placed in two events and produces a super dressage test. He would have done more events had the ground conditions allowed. He has lovely paces, super trainable attitude and has a laid-back approach to his work.

Hunted with both the Zetland and South Durham, and is a straightforward horse who is happy to get on with any job.

He hacks alone and in company and is a pleasure to do in every way. He is clean-limbed, uncomplicated and exceptionally nice to have around, with a lovely nature and a very kind temperament.

Glenford Margie is an incredible brave six-year-old Class One Registered Irish Draught mare. 

She qualified two years running for the RDS Irish Draught Performance Hunter Final. She was top placed mare in the RDS Irish Draught Performance Hunter 4-5 year old Final in 2025 finishing in 5th place overall. She placed 8th in the RDS Irish Draught Performance Hunter 6 year old and over final in 2026. She also won her qualifier in Rincoola both years and jumped all the qualifying courses with ease. She has been produced slowly and correctly with her future in mind. She has an exceptional jump and is brave and willing with a wonderful temperament.

She has also hunted with the East Galway hunt and remains very relaxed on the hunting field. 

Margie enjoys a variety of disciplines including ridden, WH classes, cross-country, hacking and beach rides. She has also jumped consistently clear with SJI gaining 5 points to date and is currently back in work to progress further in this area.

Margie is a proven talent with a lot more to give and. First to the gate and hop up and ride after a break, she is a delight to work with in every way.

Royal — 8yo Bay Mare, 16.3hh, MW Hunter

Royal is a beautiful, big, bold and incredibly eye-catching 8-year-old bay mare by the prolific sire Avanti Amorous Archie, out of the mare Paxford Pascha, who herself bred multiple HOYS horses for the late Malcolm Rosser.

Standing at approximately 16.3hh and a lovely middleweight hunter stamp, Royal is quite the eyeful and certainly turns heads wherever she goes.

Royal came to me earlier this year following the dispersal of the late Malcolm Rosser’s horses. Although she had been well used as a hacking, hunting and general riding horse, she had never previously been shown.

Since coming to me, she has taken to showing incredibly well. She has done a handful of unaffiliated shows with great success, always giving a lovely, mannerly account of herself. More recently, she was pulled 2nd in a large class of RI MW Hunters at Pembrokeshire County Show her first time taking a ride judge and she went beautifully.

Royal goes well on the flat, with three established paces, the most kind and genuine temperament and has a lovely way of going. We think she would make the most amazing allrounder

Away from the show ring, Royal is a pleasure to ride. She enjoys her hacking, absolutely loves her hunting, and will happily pop around some XC fences. She has been ridden by both ladies and gentlemen and is always ridden in a snaffle.

She is a lovely, big and impressive mare who is a genuine pleasure to have around. She is easy-going, kind and mannerly, with the presence and quality to go on and achieve much more.

He is well educated, has done clinics and dressage with excellent scores at prelim and novice. He will also pop a fence and enjoys having a varied lifestyle. He does hack but is more confident in company.

Easy to do in practically every way I can think of - I have regularly taken him out in the lorry on my own with no issues.

Whilst he is certainly good enough quality for any professional, he has been ridden by a variety of people at home and would be suitable as an amateur/home produced partnership.
