We bought Lee in January with a view to further produce him to then be my disabled daughter’s horse.

He has been foot perfect but he is incredibly clever and wants to do more than just go round in circles in walk for half of his life. He loves going out and doing things and we feel he deserves a more varied and busy life.

He is completely vice free. Good to catch, load, clip and farrier. A small child could handle him.

He’s handsome enough for the show ring too.

He is safe in open spaces and is not strong or silly. He is a well behaved and a mannerly hunter. He is a genuine jumper and moves beautifully. Hacks alone and in company. He has done fun rides, XC and hunting.

He is forward off the leg and soft in the mouth.

He can spook occasionally out hacking if he is unfamiliar with his surroundings. He is getting more and more confident the more he does, but due to his age, this is expected. We would prefer somebody capable to continue his education. He’s too special.

He will ONLY go to the perfect home and we are in no rush to sell him.

Passed a 5 stage vetting in January with full set of good X-rays, including back, all of which any potential buyer can have access to.

Marlowe is good to do in all ways - groom, turnout, catch, load, travel, in warm ups, clip (can get a bit fidgety but doesn’t need dope). He was fully vetted and x rayed a year ago, only thing picked up was a slight shiver behind but you can’t even notice it’s there, doesn’t affect him at all.

Marlowe would suit an all rounder home, eventing, showjumping or show home.
