Copper is a genuine, seasoned hunter now ready for the right home. She stands quietly at the meet, is well-mannered around hounds, and does not kick. She’s bold to a fence, will queue sensibly, and is happy to go in front or follow—she’ll also lead with a confident rider.
Always ridden in a snaffle, she’s honest and straightforward. She’s taken part in numerous fun rides with clients, been to the beach, gallops, cross-country schooling, hunter trials, and on riding holidays. She schools nicely on the flat and hacks out both alone and in company.
Copper can have a look and a spook on occasion, but she’s never unseated a rider and remains sensible. She’s good in traffic, has no stable vices, and doesn’t nap, buck, rear, or bolt. Easy to load, clip, shoe, and handle.
This is a lovely, genuine mare with plenty of experience and miles under her belt. She’s not suitable for novices, but will give a capable rider a cracking day out.
