Berry is a registered Shire mare standing at approximately 17.2hh. She is just the sweetest, kindest horse with a loving and kind temperament. She’s easy to catch, clip, bath, load & travel, and good for the farrier, with no stable vices.

Berry is only ever ridden in a snaffle. She will hack alone or in company, is good in traffic, and is totally unflappable. She is not frightened of articulated lorries, rattling trailers, motorbikes, push bikes, walkers, dogs, paper bags or scary flapping pheasants. She is also ok and very used to farm machinery & livestock.

Loves going down the pub and meeting new friends (especially if they happen to have some treats!!) standing quietly while you have a pint (or two) and will stand patiently while you try to get back on!

She will happily turn out in a herd or alone. She just settles right in and minds her own.

She has very good basic flatwork, with good upward and downward transitions, and is not at all a struggle to ride. Kick to go & pull to stop type ride. She loves having a jump and will take you to a fence and get you safely over the other side. When taken cross-country schooling, she happily popped around everything: ditches, water, timber, and small hedges.

We took her on a fun ride in April with the Staff College Drag Hounds, happily plodding along in her little snaffle on the end of the buckle with a novice lady rider. She was happy in a large group and, at no point, did she get silly or strong; she even jumped some of the bigger timber fences around Barossa.

Berry would be an asset to any mounted police force, RDA centre, riding school, or a lovely all-rounder family share. She really is a genuine confidence giver.

Dotty stands at around 14.2h and is 7 years old. She is a super fun pony. Suitable for smaller adults and children. She loves her jumping, super brave around cross country & always clear show jumping (80cm).

Nicely schooled on the flat and would produce a lovey dressage test. She works consistently in a soft outline with good transitions and is nicely off the leg.

Out hacking she is brave and unflappable & is unfazed by heavy traffic.

We took her to a fun ride in April with the staff college drag hounds where she was a lot of fun!

Dotty is good to do in al ways with no stable vices. Easy little mare to have around, you can park her anywhere and you won’t know she’s even there.

Crosby has been lightly used as a hunter hireling towards the end of last season. He has been out also on fun rides and cross country schooling.

He is a pleasure to hack alone and in company and never gets silly or strong in open spaces.

He is a lovely horse for someone to produce over the summer.

No stables vices. Good to do in all ways.

COLBY 16.2h 5yo.

A proper stamp with a leg in each corner & 10” bone.

Owned since a foal and broken in by ourselves as a 3.5-year-old. He has always been a very manageable and accommodating type, with a loving, kind, and affectionate temperament.

He has hunted a full season with various packs, including drag, bloodhounds, and trail. He will hack out alone with no napping, spooking, spinning, bucking, bolting, or rearing, and is good in traffic and most importantly he stands quietly at the pub.!!

Colby will come off the lorry anywhere and remain calm and relaxed. He stands well at the meet, will queue for a fence, and is equally happy to lead. He is super bold and would make a serious Masters horse, but is also steady enough for a family share. Also rides and leads little pony’s !!

He has been on several riding holidays and fun rides with me last summer. We always do plenty of cross-country schooling with our horses, so he is excellent with ditches, banks, water, timber, and hedges.

He is a lovely, unspoilt five-year-old, produced slowly, and is now ready for his new home. We will all be very sad to see him go.

He would make a fabulous candidate for the mounted police.

Absolutely no vices.
No trials. No loans. No payment plans. No swaps. No novices. No happy hackers. No first time buyers. Proper hunting people or close, need apply.

Cash is a 17.1hh, 8-year-old Irish mare. She has mainly showjumped unaffiliated up to 1 metre and is ready to go BS this summer with her new rider. She would make a wonderful eventer, dressage prospect, or simply a lovely family friend.

She is not at all marish and has a kind, soft, loving temperament.

She loves cross country and has been nicely schooled over a variety of fences, showing a willing and confident attitude.

She has hunted a few times this season with the Coakham Bloodhounds and has taken it all in her stride.

Out hacking, she is rock solid and good in traffic, making her a very reliable ride.

Cash would make a lovely family all-rounder. She is happy for children to have a go, is kind with a wobbly novice, and equally enjoys a steady hack down to the pub.

No vices. Good to catch, clip, load, and shoe.

Doogie has been with us for the current season and has proved himself a most genuine and accommodating sort. He has been out with a variety of packs, including the Staff College Drag Hounds and the Coakham Bloodhounds, taking everything in his stride. He is a sensible ride in a snaffle, stands quietly at the meet, and is mannerly in the field, showing himself to be good with hounds. Across country he is brave and willing, happily popping rails, ditches, hedges and the like, and is particularly pleasing in open spaces where he remains level-headed, never becoming strong or silly. He gives one the feel of a horse who will continue to make up into a most dependable hunter with further mileage.

On the flat, Doogie is working nicely for his age, with three correct, rhythmical paces and a willing attitude to his work. He is beginning to work in a consistent outline and is responsive without being sharp. With time and continued schooling, he would undoubtedly produce a very pleasing dressage test.

At home he is an absolute pleasure to have about the yard. He is easy to manage, turns out happily either in a mixed herd or on his own, and is free from stable vices.

He has been out clear round jumping at Felbridge Showground up to 70cm, which we feel is more than sufficient for his age, and he has given a very good account of himself. There is certainly scope for him to progress further in time. He has also enjoyed beach rides and pub rides, taking these experiences in his usual relaxed and sensible manner.

Doogie would suit someone seeking a smart, safe hunter, all-rounder or riding club horse. He is straightforward, genuine and easy to ride and handle, making him an enjoyable prospect for a wide range of riders.

Full history known. Good to load, clip, catch & shoe.

Rosie is a fun, forward-going mare who enjoys her work and is always keen to get on with a job.

She has previously done plenty of show jumping, dressage and hunting in her last home. Since being with us she has been out hunting a few times towards the end of the season, as well as fun rides, beach rides, cross country schooling and pub rides.

Hunting, she has been out with the Coakham Bloodhounds and Staff College. She stands quietly at the meet, will stand on or tied to the lorry, is keen when going and will jump everything with or without a lead. She then stands nicely at the end of the lines and will practically load herself to come home.

Cross country schooling, she is thoroughly enjoyable and will go over everything – water, ditches, hedges, timber and skinnies.

She has plenty of experience show jumping up to 80/90cm unaffiliated.

She loves hacking, is good in traffic and in open spaces. She is again keen and enjoys her work, but is still a safe ride.

Rosie would suit an experienced, confident teenager or small adult who enjoys a forward ride, jumping and faster work. She would not suit a nervous novice rider.

She would make a fabulous ladies hunter and would also do a field mastering job.

No stable vices.
Full history known, previous owner would love to stay in contact if allowed.

Meet Toby, a 4-year-old, 17hh Shire x Cob gelding. Imported from Ireland last year and broken by us last summer, Toby has hunted this season with us. He stands nicely at the meet, is good with hounds, and is brave to a fence.

He is a very polite boy who loves cuddles and fuss—you’ll quickly become his best friend. He’s the type you can load up by yourself, stress-free, and head off exploring. Very relaxed in new places, and never strong, hot, or silly.

Toby is still very green and needs time to produce. He hacks alone, and we often go out for hours just mooching about. He will stand quietly at the pub and is good in traffic, with livestock, and around farm machinery, which he sees daily.

He has popped around cross country and clear round show jumping. He also loves a plod down the beach and a splash in the sea.

No stable vices. Good to clip, catch, load, and shoe.

Brian is a 15.3hh, 6-year-old Connemara x Cob gelding with no recorded breeding. Since being with us, he has been used on several occasions as a hunter hireling, giving a variety of riders enjoyable and safe days out. He is a bold and genuine little horse who will jump anything you point him at. He stands quietly at the lorry and at the meet, settles well anywhere in the field, and is happy to go either first or last over a fence. He hunts in a little snaffle, and he has a lovely, soft mouth.

Brian is a super fun, forward-going ride who thoroughly enjoys his work. He hacks well both alone and in company and is sensible in traffic.

He has been cross-country schooled and absolutely loves his jumping. He is confident over a wide range of fences, including ditches, water, hedges, and timber, and will happily jump around a course of 80/90cm, consistently and always clear.
Schools nicely on the flat and would produce a nice dressage test.

He has also taken part in beach rides and fun rides with both ourselves and our customers, where he has proven to be a real firm favourite.
