Perfect mother daughter share. This is a very sad sale due her being outgrown and rider moving onto horses. She is a very sweet pony who is loved to death.

She will not compete on her own but loves going out to arena hires, cross country, hacks, and etc and will do a lovely pairs.

She is very gentle and wouldn’t hurt a fly and once she trusts you she would do anything for you.

She would never do anything nasty and will always help you out.

Likes someone gentle and doesn’t like to be forced.

She is good to clip, shoe, teeth, etc.

Will go in a trailer or lorry but prefers a lorry.

She will hack alone or in company but prefers to go with her friend.

She has done everything from pony club to fun rides to tackles jumping to giving young children pony rides.

Fletcher is a 9 year-old 14.2hh full connemara gelding. We bought him as a ridden pony in August 2025 and he passed a 5 stage vetting. However, between November 2025 and April 2026, he had a few bouts of lameness and has been out of work since. I have no way to bring him back into work, so considering the lameness, I'm selling him as a companion/light hacking pony.

Temperament-wise, Fletcher is a classic connemara character. On the ground he can be a bit grumpy. Nothing nasty; he doesn’t bite or kick, but will pull faces. He’s easy to catch, comes to you in the field, good for farrier, dentist, chiro, vet etc. He is excellent to hack in company; he can be a bit nappy on his own, but nothing dangerous. He has been happily living in a small gelding herd.

Fletcher would suit someone who can look past his grumpy faces and see what a sweet boy he truly is. This is going to be a very honest sale and I'm happy to share vet reports from his lameness investigations. I wish I could keep him, but I can't, so I'm just trying to find him a loving home.

Good with gates etc, hacks well alone and in company - however needs patience when loading, but if you're looking for a reliable hack from home that gets you out and back safely she  may suit you.

Experienced owner but unfortunately after a sharp youngster I am seeking a horse to help me get my confidence back. Horse absolutely must be safe out in traffic and not heat up in open spaces. Must hack happily alone and in company (I do a lot on my tod!). I don't mind if the flatwork is green as I enjoy bringing horses on in this area. Looking for a laid back chap who would enjoy a quiet life on my private yard. Can provide references / happy to keep in touch with a previous owner.
