Penelope is a great fun horse for someone to take on ready to have fun in all sphere, we have had her for 3 yrs left to mature for one then just fitted in with us, you can leave for as long as you like and jump on and go she has not got a nasty bone in her, hunted a couple times.

Done fun rides, hacks alone or in company never ever nappy goes anywhere on her own.

She has popped what ever asked of her and has lots of scope & potential, she has good breeding.

Not a nervous/novice ride forward going and has an engine.

15.2hh Bay Irish gelding. Rolo is a super chap who would suit someone who wants to go hacking both alone and in company or someone who also wants to do some dressage.

Role has done miles of hacking and is wonderful to hack both alone and in company as well as being very safe even in heavy traffic. Nothing really phases this chap!!

He has competed in unaffiliated dressage prelim and novice level with great scores. He has 3 super paces and holds himself in a nice outline. He would easily go up the levels if someone wanted to compete at higher level and he would affiliate tomorrow!

He has also been out and about doing many riding club clinics and lessons over the years and been a much loved horse.

Absolutely lovely temperment both on the ground and to be ridden.

He would suit a dressage and hacking home.

Rolo also has a very lovely careful jump but due to this being of no interest to his owner- he has not done much of this but would easily take to it as he does enjoy a jump and isnt phased by fillers etc! Please don't expect to see a video of him jumping around a big course though!

Roddy was bred in Poland and brought over to the UK by a hunting yard in the Cotswolds. He was hunted for many seasons and used as a hireling for a couple of years as he is so steady and reliable.

He is the most wonderful, kind, gentle old gentleman, who will stand for hours in the stable or yard. He is the perfect companion horse with not a bad bone in his body, currently living with geldings, but has lived with mares before.

He came to us 4 years ago for my then 13 year old son, who had grown very quickly and needed to graduate from ponies to horses. Roddy proved the perfect hunter for a couple of seasons. He was a reliable jumper, but is very one paced, so mother could relax.

As my son has grown even more, his attention has largely been taken up on the rugby field, so Roddy has become my very part time hack. I have enjoyed summer evenings plodding around the lanes, sometimes leading one or two of our other veterans with me. He is perfect in all traffic, with farm machinery, farm animals (including pigs), dogs, children, etc. However, he isn't immune to the occassional spook invariably at a wheelie bin or something he has passed hundreds of times before.

Roddy is for sale through no fault of his own, purely that all of our children have largely stopped riding and I have less and less time to dedicate to horses. I will only let him go to the very best home, preferably as a companion or plod about hack.

He is up to date with injections and had his teeth done in the spring.

Very easy to do on the ground in all ways.

Snaffle mouth and a super hack. Goes anywhere alone and in company, I’ve used her to ride and lead the youngsters off and get them happy in traffic.

Bold jumper sj and xc, not spooky.

Goes in an outline but not a fan of schooling.

Currently lives out 24/7 with or without other horses.

No time wasters and no novices although very easy she is still an ex racehorse.
