Due to the loss of my wonderful Connemara in January I’m searching for my new best friend.

I primarily hack but would like the opportunity to do beach rides and holidays away with my friend and her horse.

I’m not adverse to a veteran or a horse/pony with health issues as long as fully disclosed. Something that’s been there and done it but now needs a quieter life would be ideal.

Must be good in all traffic and travel in a trailer.

I’ve owned and ridden horses all my life but I’m now in my sixties and no longer brave so no bucking, rearing, bolting or napping, no project horses and no dealers.

In return I can offer a long term experienced home on my  own land at my home with other horses, all year turnout with field shelter and stabling as required

We're looking for a horse for a quiet older lady rider to hack alone and in company 2-3 a week, with the odd flatwork/pole lesson/small jumps. Must be sane and sensible and enjoy fuss and attention. Would suit a retired hunter/eventer - or something which sadly has an injury which prevents hard work.
