Gert is of exceptional breeding and in search for a new postcode...

Loves hacking, schooling prelim / novice level with lateral work and walk to canter/canter to walk etc. (She has several +70% affiliated scores at prelim level and placed at the regionals 2020)

Would suit someone wanting to give her a less pressured life, cantering through fields, going to the beach etc.

Although good out hacking, she would be best suited to an owner that is knowledgeable, quirky but great when doing her job.

A very sweet, genuine little mare who really tries her hardest and is always safe and sensible. She is a wonderful hack- has met tractors and buses and people chainsawing trees on the hill and in the woods. Doesn’t hot up in open spaces and is wonderful through our spooky woods.

She rides and leads and has been a super nanny. Polite and obedient- she is willing and tries her best for you but she is forward and is by no means half asleep. Will go front or back. Hacks alone beautifully, is never nappy or naughty but really fun and forward- not a kick along type but isn’t charging off. Heads out of the gate with a spring in her step and enjoys herself. With 3 tiny children I’m not as brave or competent as I used to be so I need something that will look after me but I really don’t want a boring plod and she has been a perfect middle man. I’ve never felt nervous or anxious on her. However I really don’t get her out nearly enough and she needs more work than I can give her.

Lives in or out with mares or geldings, a good doer and low maintenance. Wonderful ground manners. My children love her and she is sweet with them.

Has hunted in past, showjumped and XC in previous home (Ioves to jump) mainly hacked and funrides with me (nannies my 6yr old daughter wonderfully).

Nice flat work but asymmetrical so will never excel in high level dressage or showing (hence reduced price)

Just a really lovely horse that would be a perfect mother daughter share, riding club, pony club for a confident teen. Not for a novice as although she is as safe as houses and super kind, she does like to crack on and doesn’t hang about much. If you want a kick along or something slow and steady, she won’t be for you.

A genuinely lovely person to have around and if it wasn’t for the children she would be with me forever.

5* , loving, knowledgable homes only. Would like first refusal if she is ever sold on if possible as hopefully when the children are bigger I might have more time for her!

Chief (Chieftain of Bonwm) is a real head turner with his beautiful leopard spots. He is an absolute gentleman on the ground, very easy to do in all ways. He certainly loves a fuss to be made of him at any-time.

Chief is most suited to hacking but he would excel in a hunting home. He does enjoy the sand-school but can get strong, so he would not suit anything less than a competent novice to pilot him.

He hacks both alone and in company and is not phased by tractors, HGV’s or anything else on the road.

He is a forward ride with three correct paces and very brave. Not once has he refused a jump.Good to catch, shoe, box and clip. Teeth require a minimal amount of sedation if the machine is used, but by hand he is fine.

All vaccinations, wormers, teeth and shoes are up to date.

Pre purchase, he passed a 5-stage vetting and of course, he would be open to all vetting once again.

Top class 5* home only as this has been such a difficult decision.

Dressage / Hack (low level jumping)

Archie is a 16.3h rising 12yo warmblood gelding. In the past he has competed up to BE novice but would much more prefer and suit a dressage/hack home.

His present owner doesn’t jump but has enjoyed hacking him and taking him to dressage and pole clinics.

Since arriving on sales livery with me we have popped him over some small jumps and grids which he seems to enjoy but wouldn’t want to be pushed through anything big. No injuries or health issues, vice free.

Sad sale due to owner suffering with arthritis and much wanting him to have his forever home.

Home is far more important than money so no dealers trying to make a quick buck on him!!!!

Archie would benefit from that 1-2-1 bond that is a competent novice.

He can look at things out hacking but no malice in him and fine with traffic and Open spaces, snaffle mouthed.

Ridden in the arena he can shy away from jump wings/fillers round the edge but if ridden correctly he can work nicely in an outline and perform lateral movements, medium trot.

He’s not the sort of horse that needs to be ridden every day but enjoys a variety of work.

Seren is an absolute please to have around the yard and competition ring; gentle, lovely, straightforward and forgiving.

Easy to handle in every way, Seren confidently hacks out alone or in company. She's an excellent schoolmaster and has taken a young rider from ponies to horses with ease.

Seren was at Bolesworth this year jumping 90cm for team Scotland and her young rider had started working up through the ranks for BS. Previously she has been successful at BE90.

Sadly, we have discovered that Seren has arthritis in one of her fetlocks. She is not in immediate pain with this and does not appear lame in the field, however, she is lame with too much work. She is not suitable for competition or hard work anymore and absolutely cannot be jumped.

Seren needs a loving home as she loves fuss and attention. She likes to be out as much as possible - currently coming in at night with us but has previously lived out 24/7.

Seren comes from a good bloodline. She will be a wonderful broodmare although maiden currently. Alternatively, she will be a great family friend for light joy riders.

This is a really sad sale as she was brought by us to stay with us for years but unfortunately she was brought to do a job for my son that she can no longer do and I do not have the space to keep both her and her replacement horse.

5* home essential where I can be sure she will be looked after. Home is more important than price.

Won't pass vetting!
